Even though Gyradiko is located outside the downtown area (in district XIII) I recommend visiting it if you crave some Greek taverna food. I haven't been to Greece so can't confirm authenticity, however it's obviously not your gyros street buffet. We had the mixed cold starter of 6-8 dips/creams (enough for 3-4 ppl) then for mains the gyros plate, soutzouki,... More

We visit this resaturant pretty often. It is near to the Danube, great for a huge walk after eating. Parking is solved in the near. The place is often crowded, especially in summer. Today I decided to eat chicken hamburger with bacon, it was a good choice, but next time I will eat gyros again. It is the best.

Greek restaurant with very good quality. I have never had bad experience with any meal there. Their gyros is amazing.

Not the sort of place I would normally go to for an evening meal, but we were staying at a local hotel and didn't want anything fancy. I ordered a Greek salad and some squid. All freshly prepared and cooked. Red wine came in a carafe and was very sweet. A long queue to order, but food was ready very... More

I recently moved close to this place and spent many evenings there tasting great food and paying reasonable prices. Service tends to slow down if you order fancier than a sandwich so be prepared. But it is definitely worth the wait, and gives you a good taste of the Romai part Greece we have here.

Gyros plate was a big portion with pita bread and fries. The meat was a little bit dry, the fries was excellent, pita was ok, i miss more tomatoes. Tzatziki was good-but not as good as in Greece. All together:good, but overrated to call it best gyros at Budapest. The service was really fast at Monday evening.

With all my teammates together , we had a lunch here, nice weather to sit outside. However, the waiting time for here was quite long, one of my friend waited like 40 minutes for such kind of food. The taste actually was no better than the Gyros on the street, it was a so so place I have to say.

Overpriced greek food with a special atmosphere for non European people. I couldn't get in sync with this place. So expensive, so ordinary, mediocre food.

Have eaten here on a couple of occasions over the years. It's always busy and prices are very reasonable. Good sized portions. The main menu is in Hungarian but they do have it in English as well. Enjoyed the souvlaki although the fried potatoes actually looked nicer than they tasted. Also good for takeaway.
