I was there on my last day in Budapest and there were full of local people. I had fish soup which was perfect for the weather. I felt it was very similar to Korean food so I really enjoyed it. And I took away palacsinta and then ate it at home. Again it was just beautifully tasty.

Very nice place, with big choice of meals and drinks. Nicely cooked local dishes with reasonable prices.

Although it is a good 30-45 minute walk from the place we were staying and from the main strip, it is definitely worth a visit. We went here twice because it was so good! Location/atmosphere: It is a bit of a walk from the main strip but if you are staying near the Full Moon Hostel and that area, it... More

Nice hidden restaurant recommended by a couple who used to live near this place. Clean environment. It was my first meal in Hungary and of course my first Hungarian food ever. Would recommend it to friends who would come to the city of Budapest. I had the beef goulash and consommé. We are staying around the Hero square and it... More

Very much worth the walk from our hotel. Recommend by Hungarian friends living in Los Angeles . Great food and great service in a very quaint neighborhood. The goulash is good and the consommé was excellent.

Prices are fair and I ate the best goulash in my life. Portions were so big, my girlfriend left half of the food. Ambient is friendly and staff is nice. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat cheap and good meal.

We were looking for a non touristy place which didn't have A traditional Hungarian food in its name. The restaurant was full of locals so that should be a good sign of a place that will not rip you off ( as a native from Prague I know what I'm talking about). The staff were ok, even recommended some main... More

Have been coming here for years (well at least when I am in Budapest) and never, ever have I been disappointed. This place is tucked away about one block in from the Danube where it splits around Margaret Island, the street itself is up and coming with more expensive eateries nearby. However, this place has a grand and comprehensive traditional... More

Disgusting food and ignorant personal. Really bad experience to eat there. Cordon blue was a burned biff with hamm(?)and a lot of cheese (?) On the top! Potato kroquettes was burned too and a souce taste like a glass of milk.

Great choice of authentic Hungarian food served up by friendly staff in a superb atmosphere . We tried to get in over the weekend and ended up getting a table three days later. Huge portions at great value prices. No starter for us next time. Top beer and wine. Will come again.
