Enjoyed our lunch as always!

We’ve been here several times over the years (once we were at the table with a regular for 7 hours; lunch became dinner!) We return because we know the seafood is fresh and well prepared and the staff is professional. We started today with sardines and moved onto Spaghetti with lobster and Batic rose. Everything was as it should be. Wish reviewers would stop complaining about prices. It’s a fine restaurant not a bar or cafe. You see the prices before you order, no? Come to enjoy lunch, dinner or both!

Good Choice

We stopped here for a late lunch, located along the promenade, a few meters away from the Promenda (Prešeren Embankment), not every pedestrian is looking directly at you as you eat. There are views of the sea and it also has plenty of outdoor seating. As it was raining, we sat inside, at a table along the window. We had originally chose another restaurant, but were seated right next to the restrooms, they would not move us even though there were plenty of available tables. Both our mains were tasty, and the service attentive and quick. Our experience was positive experience considering that we were in a very touristic place.

Great Service, Full Restaurant, Adequate Food

Last minute reservation so we didn’t get the best seats looking out over the sea but at least we got in. The tables are very close together and although I’m a very small person, it was very difficult to get move around. I don’t think I saw a server younger than 70 years of age. All older men who really knew their way around serving at a busy restaurant. Paying attention to every detail, describing the food, suggesting pairings, being entertaining and funny, efficient, etc. Had a dinner of mussels, salmon, potatoes mixed with chard, and Međimurska gibanica for dessert. Very typical for the area. Nothing spectacular but I don’t expect too much from a touristic restaurant. It was adequate with great service. This was my last night in Slovenia/Croatia/Istria after weeks of gourmet traveling so maybe I wasn’t really concentrating on the food as much as I should’ve, thinking of the travel ahead.

I wrote some time ago review in german language, but I don’t see it again. Now, after almost a year I really think this restaurant is disaster and I start doubting about good notes given to this or other restaurants. I went with my wife and ordered scampi and while eating I knew something was wrong. Still now I have headache when I think on that dish: “Scampi on buzara”. I spent whole night in bathroom throwing out that beautiful food. That was terrible. Perhaps I was unlucky, but I don’t think this restaurant deserves second chance...

Unpolite waiter, tables and decoration still in 70's behind. Ordered two calimari plates , side dishes like potatoes cost extra, ordered two portions of french fries (two persons), got both portions on one plate. Over expensive, low quality. Never ever again.

Worst rastaurant in Piran

it was awufl. Service was bad. Waiter was unpolite. I fund plastic and hair in fud. i feel sick now after dinner. We paid for sattings and they brought them on plate and left it in the middle of the table. Worst rastaurant in Piran.

GOT CHARGED FOR CUTLERY 4€ per person

Again same thing happened as in Pavel got charged for cutlery plus napkins additional 4€ per person. Asked in advance if they charge for cutlery the waiter said no. I’m sorry but what?! I never seen that! Payed 38€ for the most disgusting fish in my life. Extremely disappointed. They are too busy to provide a good quality service and FOOD! Way too busy. Quality of food and its price has a very very big gap.

Excellent choice for our large group

We were a group of ten colleagues in the area for a conference and wanted to have a celebratory meal out. Pavel 2 was a great choice with a beautiful view of the sunset over the Adriatic. The food was delicious and the serving staff were fun, professional and helpful. Would definitely go there again.

Absolutely lovely and delicious seaside experience!

I had a very good light early dinner and drink here. On a beautiful sunny day, after much exploring, I stopped in to get some food before having an early night. The restaurant itself is lovely, with nice views of the ocean and promenade, crisp tablecloths and pretty flowers...like a picture of what a seaside restaurant should be. The food was very good - I got a giant plate of the Sea Bass carpaccio - and it was delicious. It was lemony and capery and light and refreshing and just so perfect for what I wanted sitting by the sea. The wine was a perfect pairing for my carpaccio, recommended by my waiter. And that was the real kicker - the service here was excellent. My waiter was kind and funny and attentive without being annoying. Overall, my meal here was just perfect. It felt elegant while also feeling laid back, high quality without being snooty, filling without being heavy. And all that view views and atmosphere to spare! Who could ask for more?! I would definitely go back my next time in Piran.

Good food but busy place

Food was very good. Good portions for fair price. Pasta perfectly al dente and not short of shellfish. Place is large and busy so a lot of walking around the time - staff is friendly and helpful but has little time for each customer. Perhaps better when avoiding 20h to 21h time slot.

Great food, bad service

We spent a romantic dinner at the beach. We didn't get what we ordered sadly, neither did the neighbour table. The waitress took the incorrect order back, and brought ours shortly after. We had a great meal, but nothing outstanding. They had us pay for the incorrect order as well. I suggest you to skip this place, there are plenty of great restaurants in the city.

Great food, slow service

We had the fish in the oven. The food was fantastic, but the service slow, hence not a high score. The waitress does what she can but is all alone for the whole terrace. Please owner, give in some of your profit to hire more people. You will profit more in the end.

Not Welcoming Attention

Been here twice now, both times it's been great. We took the fish plate for two, and everything was fine, except for the huge prawns—they were very painful to clean, and there was almost nothing to eat. Otherwise, everything was fine.
