First impression was good (because of the design and atmosphere) but later everything was ruined… After we made the order more than 45 minutes have passed, people who came after us already got their order and ate it. No one came to us to explain...why so I went to the staff and found out that our breakfast was fallen on the floor and the new one will be in a few minutes…Again NO ONE even tried to come, apologize and inform about it. After 15 more minutes we got our breakfast- it was dry, the egg was fried, although it should not have been (Croque “something” Madame). A friend actually had some kind of porridge (in a bad way) with canned tomatoes, a few fried eggs and sauce. I ask waiter to come but he didn’t, so I came to him and ask for a discount for waiting an hour, for what I got “I can’t give a discount. Just pay and go” - Excuse me? We said that it wasn’t our fault that they fell our order on the floor, on that waiter said “It’s not my fault too. Just pay and go” How it can be even possible and acceptable? Can staff at least try to be polite, explain the situation and offer something or at least apologize…It’s a basic customer service rule.More

We visited on recommendation of our hotel. We had a lovely breakfast and enjoyed it so much that we returned the following day. It was extremely busy but the service was good with friendly waiters. The cups of tea were huge and the coffee was...lovely. Between the 3 of us we had, english breakfast, croque madame and yoghurt/fruit. We each declared our breakfast to be delicious!! The portions were generous and the quality of the food was great! Would recommend this cafe for tea/coffee and breakfast.More

This is a wonderful restaurant without delicious food at reasonable prices. The staff is kind and attentive. Food is Slovenian with a French eye for presentation. We love their breakfast as well as dinner. Highly recommend!

We had two lovely brunches here during our stay in Ljubljana. As the name suggests, you could be sitting in a Parisian cafe. The food however has a local twist and a highlight was the Istrian breakfast with truffle and prosciutto. Service was 100% despite...the place being very busy.More

This is a nicely located restaurant in French Revolution Square. They have a mixture of indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was a cloudy, but otherwise dry day, we sat outside up the canopies. They have a reasonable sized menu, but not many vegetarian restaurants,...so we just went with the Green Risotto and coffees. The vegetables all tasted fresh and I especially like the combination of sweet peas and broccoli. The sweetness of the former, balancing the earthy and slightly bitter of the latter. The risotto was cooked to perfection. The good and service were good. The menu is a little pricey thought, but I guess you get what you pay for.More

Probably best chocolate cake i ever ate. Nice atmosphere there. And sexy waiter, se said. Have some doubts about this fact.

This was my first meal in Ljubljana - a breakfast fit for royalty - scrambled eggs with black truffles (hold the olives) perfectly cooked, accompanied by generous slices of local prosciutto, thick toast, half a liter of green tea in a soup bowl sized cup....I asked the server how many eggs were on my plate, and he answered “Four?” My guess would be eight. Staff was friendly and helpful, despite the crowd. We stayed at delightful and historic nearby Barbo Palace Apartments, were passing through on our way to Kurentovanje in Ptuj, or would definitely gone back. Excellent.More
