Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We read about this cafe in the lonely planet as being the place to go for breakfast. The queuing system for a table is non existent. After waiting 10 mins for a table we then proceeded to wait 20 mins for the table to be...cleared from the previous people. I attempted to grab 3 different waiters all of which ignored me. They were clearing all the locals tables and ignoring English speaking tables. Food was slow and average. Would not recommend. To pay the bill was also a nightmare as had to ask 3 timesMore

Disappointing experience, expected better after reading the trip advisor reviews. My food was exceptionally salty and the Eperil Spritz were half measures, most of the glass was ice. Wouldn’t recommend a visit there are so many other better places to try.

This place is overrated. Coffee is good, but you quickly realize that the cliché wannabe French decor is a well crafted illusion to lure in tourists. The staff is overwhelmed by the number of clients and as a result is sluggish in taking orders. Nothing...on the menu is actually French and the prices are outrageous, even compared to the most expensive of French cities, Paris. News flash: Eggs Benedict and bagels are not French. Also, 10 euros for a bagel that comes without even a modest side is simply insulting, especially when the bread isn't fresh. Worst of all, the menu is deceptive on some items. When the menu shows on the same line "2 euros"right next to" season vegetables, dried tomatoes", in all parts of the world and according to common sense, it means that you'll bring me both season vegetables *and* dried tomatoes. When asked about why only the former appeared on my plate, the waitor indicated that it means 2 euros for season vegetables and 2 euros for dried tomatoes. By that logic, my bagel should have cost 10 euros for the bread, ten euros for the avocado, ten euros for the vegetables, and so on. I'm not going to die for 2 euros, but please don't treat your customers as if they were stupid.More

Le Petit Cafe was near our hotel and on this evening we thought a French named bistro might have good salads for a light dinner after eating heavier during the day. We ordered a Caesar salad with chicken and their Vitaminska Solata which is a...green salad with buffalo mozzarella. The Vitaminska was better than the Caesar which consisted of colourless romaine lettuce, heavily dosed in dressing, with undistinguished fried chicken breast, The Malvazija wine was a highlight.More

We stopped in for a late lunch on a cold/rainy/snowy spring day- just around the corner from our hotel. Friendly staff seated us after a few minutes wait. Gnocchi with beef cheek ragu was excellent- hot and very99 tasty. Asparagus soup with good bread also...very good. English menu available, and staff spoke excellent English as well. Menu very interesting, will go back.More

I've eaten here a few times in the last few months. Food is consistently good, service is OK and prices reasonable. It's great in good weather to be able to sit outside and eat, although the outside area is not huge. Good eggs benedict, gnocchi...with truffles and the beef bourginon was great, but is off the spring menu sadly. A bit of France on Ljubljana.More

Seems to be a very popular breakfast place and for a reason: cozy cafe located on a nice corner, good atmosphere, delicious food, laid back atmosphere. I really liked the interior! Due to the crowd the service is a bit hectic, but probably Saturday morning...is the busiest.More

Had to spend some hours in Ljubljana and found this highly rated cafe. Easy access and parking lot nearby. The cafe is very cozy and super friendly service. Seems you can call ahead to reserve so this is something to keep in mind as it...is busy. The coffee is delicious, one of the best I've had and the Eggs Benedict as well. A definite place to stop for a quick meal.More

I work by lepetit cafe and I've had half the menu. Everything is always fresh and good quality. Portions are generous. Breakfasts are huge. They do amazing truffle pasta and amazing omelettes. I'd highly recommend their coffee and croissants too. Also their sandwiches are great....I've never had so much salmon in a sandwichMore
