Elegant decor and the opportunity to admire it for a longer time... while waiting for a free seat, but what wouldn't you do for delicious Wedel chocolate. We finally get a table and wait (but not that long) for the desired delicacies. It was the first time in Warsaw in four years, but the atmosphere around the shop seemed a little restless, as development was progressing. Undoubtedly a historic location, you enter and immediately see a counter full of chocolate, feeling like "The Chocolate Factory", my traveling companion was also fascinated by the waitress at the cash register who he would have happily married. Huge disappointment

Amazed by the fame of this place, we tried it. What a disappointment. One person to manage the room, horrible music that destroyed the particular atmosphere created with the furnishings. Got a caramel-covered cheesecake and a trio of mascarpone puffs. The cheesecake was good but the caramel topping too sweet. The puffs were tasteless and, unfortunately, overcooked, with an inevitable nasty aftertaste. Unlucky me this time? Maybe.

Nice place to have a good chocolate and a slice of cake or ice cream, good presentation, price level in Spain. I have given it a rating of 2 for the terrible service offered by the waiter, an unprepared guy who had all the tables around us waiting for more than 30 minutes. First they served us a chocolate tasting and then after another half hour the Lyonnaises that we had ordered with the chocolate. To not return for this aspect.

A beautiful place, which consists of three different rooms, with the room with the best decor always roped off from customers (we came here twice). The food, deserts and drinks are all fantastic. We always go to Wedel in New Town or in Krakow on Rynek, and we came to this particular location because it is historically the oldest. While the decor and menu are great, the service is a far cry from anything sophisticated. They are lacking basic manners. They just never smile and only look totally discouraged and perpetually exhausted. A bunch of tired depressed young people work as waiters at this location. The restroom was not clean either.

Slow and inattentive staff

Cozy place, absolutely. Very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't get our orders at the same time and they didn't come up and ask if we wanted to pay. My hot chocolate was cold before my company had had theirs. Not very good chocolates. Maybe picked the wrong flavors. Hot and cold chocolate tasted okay. Worth stopping for coffee if you are not in a hurry. But the staff pulled down the grade.

Cannoli was good

We went to this historical chocolate shop 2 days in a row. 2 coffees and 2 desserts on our first visit We paid 460₺ for it. The next day, we paid 313₺ for 3 types of mini hot chocolate and cannoli. The chocolate wasn't hot enough but I liked the Cannoli. It is not as impressive as the Austrian pastry shops, but it can still be visited during your travels to Warsaw.

The best chocolate ever

During our four days in Sopot, we had time to enjoy Wedel's hot chocolate drink. Even when visiting Krakow, we had time to enjoy this wonderful chocolate. A must visit if you like gourmet, hot chocolate, desserts or just pieces of filled chocolate if you want good strong taste. Wonderfully

A shame

It is a shame that such good food and great hot chocolate is hidden behind poor service and a subpar seating area. Staff did not give us what we ordered, didn’t clear our table for over an hour while we sat and always acted too busy to speak to us. The venue itself was so much potential, high ceilings and large windows, but suffers from a poor standard of cleanliness and tasteless decor. Worth going to if you can focus on the food and drink.

Chocolate lovers paradise!!

I am a chocoholic, but I'll be honest. Even I didn't think that hot chocolate could really offer that much variety. I am glad to say I was so very wrong. At Wedel, you must sit down among the adorable 19th century decor and try a hot chocolate of your choice off the menu. I love advocat (have tried before in Belgium) so that's the one I went with - traditional egg milk included. It was amazing. But no matter what you chose, you can't go wrong here.

"A Chocolate Taste"

Satisfied! The stuff was very friendly and the order that we took was delicious (Roasted chicken with mozzarella, dried tomatoes, pesto and side salad + Chico dumplings with cream cheese, banana and caramel sauce + 3 hot chocolates). Regarding the price (for me personally) was reasonable and the place is very cozy. I recommend it👍

5 years ago my trip to this chocolate restaurant was a far better one. However this time I was met with a waitress who was glum. Then after making my order I was told they didn't have any bananas. So I made a different choice. The cherries and crepes were cold and made it unpleasant. Shame really. Maybe this was an off day.

Good drinking chocolate in a swanky setting

Came here for the hot chocolate that everyone raves about. the classic hot chocolate is indeed every good, pure dark cocoa flavor. could be even thicker in my opinion (comparing to barcelona's and lisbon's drinking chocolate) that is. We also tried a couple of other chocolate drink flavors like almond and coconut, I think those add too much sugar and not as thick. overall a good place to sit down and enjoy a swanky dessert.
