Typical Polish restaurant. I have eat many nice plates in this restaurant and everything was really nice made and served. Not last the drinks, I had a fresh juice from blueberry made at moment, nice and tasty. I have spent few days in Warsaw and...been there more than one time. For sure in my next visit I will not miss itMore

Had a wonderful experience there this evening. The staff went out of their way to explain the different dishes that were offered, and everything I tried was wonderful. Definitely try the soup!

We were very happy with our meal at Zapiecek this evening. It was helpful that they have a well explained English language menu and that one of our servers spoke good English (both a relative rarity in Warsaw, it seems). Although some might think this...=commercialism, most of the other patrons were Polish so we did not feel like we were in a tourist trap, I had a fabulous frozen blackberry margarita with a vodka shot, followed by bigos (a delicious sauerkraut plum sausage mixture) while my companion had the draft beer and Polish sausages. We both were very happy with our meal. Neighbouring tables had pierogis, rye soup, potato pancakes; all traditional local foods which looked delicious. Prices were reasonable, service good. Recommended!More

I went there because apparently the pierogi are so amazing. I have to admit the ones with potatoes etc. were quite good. but definitely not as good as others I ate before (that you can buy in shops). The fruit ones were disappointing, nothing to...write home about. But what really put me off and why I decided to write this review is the very unfriendly service. Not only did they forget to bring me the second bottle of water that I had ordered for the second dish but in the meantime another guy came who had ordered take away food. He was so hungry that he asked if it was possible to eat there. the waitress got angry and said not really but if he insists she would have to charge her more. what annoyed her even more was that she would have to put the food on the plate. he said, no problem, i can do it myself. she came back and basically THREW the plate on the table. I was shocked and made a little scene. Never again will I set a foot in this restaurant again and I will tell friends to avoid it. If you are in this area, I recommend you go to one of the restaurants at Nowy Swiat instead. super friendly service and great polish food :)More

The food was really nice and the service was amazing. They had live music when we went so it made the atmosphere great.

We visited this restaurant on Saturday 8/2 around 2100, and were sat downstairs upon arrival without any booking. Would however recommend to book table in advance as the restaurant was full. Our waitress spoke english and was a delight. Great with recommendations and comfortable to...talk to. We had a relatively large order for 2 people - Dumpling mix platter, soup with sausage and egg, pork knuckle, potato dumplings and poultry liver. It was more than we could eat, but everything tasted delicious.if anything, it would have been nice to know what was in which dumplings on the mix platter. Best of all, the meal was the cheapest amd best one we had i warsaw, even though we ate on both Zėbra and Hard Rock. Keep up the good work 👍More

A chain restaurant that has super good PR, they are all over the city spamming you about them. Had a rude experience with one staff member but our waiter Verónica was fine. The second course took long as well as other minor incidents like serving...our second drink at the end of the meal, not ideal but aceptable. It's a nice place to try different pierogis. Don't really know if I would come back.More

This is part of a chain of restaurants with the same name. It seems to be policy to keep the restaurant spaces small so that there is often a queue of people outside giving the misleading impression that it is a popular resort. Service when...we eventually got in was slow. Pork knuckle bone on sauerkraut is a speciality, but it isn't made clear that the price depends on the size of the port knuckle, and I was surprised to be charged almost twice the cost of other items on the menu. My wife who had potato pancake with goulash found it heavy going, as I did with the pork knuckle. It wasn't unpleasant but I feel sure that Polish cuisine can be better than this.More

A long queue outside, so we assumed that it must be good. But it wasn't: tiny insisde, with tables squashed together...hence the queue outside. We were seated downstars at a small table for two, with hardly room to move. The waitress took ages to actually...take our order; then, the meals took even longer to arrive. I was ready to leave by this stage. The food too was disappointing: heavy and greasy, although plentiful. More expensive too than other Polish restaurants we visited, where the food was tasty, lighter and healthier. The only plus - it was warm inside on a cold winter's night.More

We love this place. Great food, well made, high quality. The servers could be a bit more friendly but the atmosphere and food are worth it. See you soon!
