We were walking around a busy Poznan on a Friday evening and found this exotic looking restaurant with a calm atmosphere. As I live in Poland it was very refreshing to taste something different from pierogi and bigos for ones. The food experience was amazing! We tried everything that sounded unusual :) and that was a very good idea! On... More

We were in the restaurnat for the wedding reception. The food was delicious. They provided a variaty of different dishes and a special menu for the kids. Next time I am in Poznan, I will go there for dinner.

The service at this restaurant was worse than average for Poland, which is just a few steps above "walking out it's so bad" in the U.S.A. We ordered some dishes and it turned out that they only had one left of the two we requested. When we asked questions about the dishes, we often got a blank stare from the... More

It's hard to evaluate Madagaskar: wrong interior, but tasty food. It's location in in a city centre is good, but restaurant is two-storey, where the larger room is in basement. When I visited it, it was empty with a totally wrong music, some trance or dance from Radio Eska or something. Waitress was a newbie I assume. She spilled red... More

We chose this place on a whim, thinking it might have some interesting food on offer. The place was deserted and cold (I wore my coat thoughout my meal) and the food was tasteless and unremarkable. The staff were evidently busy doing something out the back, so we were not offered more drinks or dessert, and had to hang around... More

First, the name was a surprise, then as I went in, the decoration was absurd! The first dish, duck with salad was very good, but the second dish was terrible...., dessert was ok. In Poland they have a very good cuisine, what happened?, well maybe I just walked into "polish Madagascar"

Like the name of restaurant, menu is very exotic, but there also will find a person who likes Polish cuisine. All the dishes are seasoned with delicious, warm and nicely served. In my opinion main minus of the restaurant is forgettable decor - artificial flowers and the general impression that restaurant is not finished.

When my friends from Poznan insisted to visit this restaurant instead of sitting outside and enjoying sun on the main square I wasn't especially enthusiastic. Well, I was wrong. Maybe it's not on the main square and quite hard to find but certainly it's worth searching. Food there is delicious, very well done and served. They are willing to satisfy... More
