I was recommended this restaurant by a Polish friend of mine, and it seemed well liked on Trip Advisor. A little confusing on their website as there are about 4 or 5 different restaurants under the same name. Click on the address of the restaurant you want at the bottom of the home page, and you will then find the... More

Everyone visiting Krakow should have a meal in this place, even if it's the only meal in town. The food is great. The environment is unique. The prices are low. It's so simple

A very different type of restaurant with its unique, at least in the old town centre unique decorative style of traditional Polish eating experience with wooden planked walls, long tables and benches. Including a bed, babies crib and traditional masonry built fire and oven, just to mention a few items. The food is delicious traditional Polish food which is cooked... More

This place was difficult to find. You have to walk through a long hallway, turn left into a courtyard, through another door and down into the basement. But the food is absolutely worth it. It offers a range of Polish dishes, and the potato pancakes, carrot salad, and kielbasa especially are delicious. Best of all, it's very cheap! My family... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a fellow traveler and I am so glad we went. It is very hidden away. Based near the main market square, you have to walk through a gallery looking place to find the entrance in their courtyard. The inside is incredible! The menu has a large range of polish dishes on. The place is... More

Excellent place to try the best flavours of Polish cooking. You can have snacks in ground floor or going 1 floor down for a super experience in a room decorated as your old aunt's house. You will also enjoy a live piano, that enhances the experience. Soups served in bread are superb. Also the regional food. I hardly recommend this... More

We only stayed one night in Krakow so not many opportunities to try out different restaurants. We decided to check out U Babci Maliny and definitely loved it! Location was not very obvious as the restaurant was inside a larger building, but easy to track with google maps. Once inside, the ambience turned into a cozy Polish house ready to... More

Just the interior decor is worth a visit, absolutely quirky and Polish - add wonderful, tasty food to this for a good price and you have a winning combination. Must try the mushroom soup in a bread bowl - it was delicious, and I had fried pierogi with cabbage and mushrooms and they were seasoned to perfection. Slightly confusing entrance,... More
