our friend dinner was terribile, the meals was disgusting and when arrived the time to paid, they said that they didn't pay and asked more 110 euro, we never return in this Place and andvice you to do the same
Food was good but disappointing when we were about to order dessert and were told that the kitchen is closed! We were there at a decent time and kept to our reservation time 8pm. We were not even informed that we needed to order before...the kitchen closed.More
Nice restaurant but the staff don't speak emglish very well the food was really good the price is ok we paid 60 zlty and we like it
I must say that I have had better service and food In McDonald’s. The main courses arrived separately, in fact 15 minutes apart and the beer was flat. Staff didn’t seem to care once you walked through the door and we’re inside. My personal advise...is as to avoid disappointment avoid this place .More
It is absolutely essential that anyone visits this restaurant purely for the eccentricity of the decor. It lies somewhere between a palace and my grandmother’s living room; a particular highlight was the framed tiara of Miss Polski 2022 - why it was there, I have...no idea, but I’m delighted that it was. The food was classic polish, and very good. Truly an unforgettable experience, and I’m glad to have experienced it.More
We had an amazing traditional polish meal, large portions, the service was outstanding, the staff were extremely nice and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Dzieki Bardzo
The food here is delicious! The mushroom soup must not be missed. This is grandma food. Also, the basement ambience also screams grandma. The service is super and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!
Traditional exceptional food! The place , wow, is beautiful and also the staff super nice ladies I definitely recommend sitting downstairs where the area looks like a travel back in time, superb!
Lady in cash desk put higher price in card reader than she should, french fries was with ugly and a total lot of dried pepper, they prepared special order for my children pancakes with jam probably jam was very old and taste awful. Price for...food and self service is total mistake - for this price you'll easily find great elegant restaurant not this mistake.More
Was in Krakow with my wife for a few days, and with her being Ukrainian, she was looking for as much taste of home as she could get, and while everywhere in Krakow does great food, I think this was my favorite place in the...whole city during our stay. Renovation work was happening when we visited, so was a case of entering one building, along a corridor, up some stairs, down another set, along another corridor etc.... then we came to a court yard where we found the back entrance. At first it does not feel much to look at, but you grow to like it with its rustic village vibes. Menu is quintessential Polish, so you are in for a good meal. For us we ordered soups to start, then my wife ordered the chicken and potatoes, while I ordered pork tenderloin, with potatoes and a salad, along with a couple of beers, it came to less than £20. All freshly prepared in no time, and was very tasty. Owner must be a boxing fan, as the walls are awashed with signed photos of them with just about every famous boxer on the planet (we were looking for ones with Klitchko and Oleksandr Usyk). All in all, a great place for a no thrills, but tasty meal, and when back in Krakow, will most certainly visit here again.More
The call of the device is unsurpassed. Unfortunately, the dishes that can be picked up by number-calling are mostly not gluten-free. All local specialities are professional and delicious. The one tuna salad that was supposed to be gluten-free was icy - as if the ingredients...had been taken from the icebox - and thus inedible. The accompanying sauce and toast were really delicious, but they forgot that it doesn't fit into a gluten-free diet. I took this a little to heart - I would have liked more attention - but my husband ate it with relish.More
We tried both restaurants and the food was great. We’re polish ourselves and grew up with the traditional foods. We tried many places but this was the best!
The venue is beautifully decorated and quite unique. On the night we dined there was live music played by a pianist which was nice and provided a lovely ambiance. The meals were tasty. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the pierogi were delicious. There are...many menu items to choose from to suit everyone’s taste buds and quite reasonably priced. The staff were professional, however I think it is quite poor form to stamp a 10% service charge on your bill right in front of you when you are paying your bill. I don’t mind paying a service charge, just be up front about it like all the other restaurants, as it isn’t a pleasant way to finish a dining experience when someone rubber stamps an additional charge at the last minute when you are about to pay.More
We visited U Babci Maliny several times during our stay in Krakow. Here you get authentic homemade Polish food for a reasonable price. Pleasant atmosphere and nice interiors. The restaurant is quite hidden away - with only a sign in the street and the restaurant...located inside a door after walking through a backyard. PS: Self-service, so you have to collect your food from the desk and remove your cutlery after finishing the meal. Highly recommened if you want local cuisine.More
