Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I spent our last night in Danzig looking for a quiet place to have a few drinks. We found this little pub and sat outside. When we arrived, there were very few people there. When we left, it was full. The pub...is small and quirky. The atmosphere is lovely, and sitting outside we could just watch the world go by in glorious sunshine. The waiter was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. We even got free salt sticks with our drinks! The prices were very reasonable, probably the cheapest pub we found in Danzig. A great night and a great way to finish our short trip to beautiful Danzig. We'll be back !More

We stopped in on a rainy evening and put our quest to find the world’s best Irish Coffee to the test. We started this quest years ago after visiting the Buena Vista in San Francisco. Old Gdansk is the first place we’ve been to that...meets that standard. Fast and friendly service, good music and a great place to chill out during a rain storm (or at any time)!More

A quirky little bar offering a selection of local brew and some live music. It was quiet when we visited, but we were warmly welcomed. We sat upstairs on the mezzanine, which had some very steep steps leading up. I'd be wary after a few...scoops. A nice bar right in the heart of town. Worth a visit.More

Very friendly staff, great ice cold local beer for around £1 a pint. They were very welcoming and gave us snack with our drinks, made good conversation and asked us to go back for a music night in the next night which we did.

We stopped in for a cold beer on a hot day. The service was good and the beer selection was equally good. The outside tables offered a great place to watch the tourists. At one end of the patio is the largest yellow rose bush...I have ever seen. It is best to not sit under it because tiny green bugs kept dropping from it but the beautiful blooms did smell nice.More

Perfect for a pit stop! Very reasonable in price and also relaxing to watch people go by on the busy street. Nice little sun trap if the weathers good. Even if it looks quiet, don’t be fooled it continuously gets a nice crowd!

Nice, little bar in the Old Town of Gdansk. The fellow working behind the bar was happy to talk us through and recommend some excellent (and strong) Polish beer which we enjoyed in the outside seating area. Complimentary breadsticks with our drink was a nice...touch, and was a good place for a relaxing drink in the late afternoon.More

Old Gdansk Beer Pub & Caffe is yet another fantastic beer bar that we found as we were bimbling around the Old Town and what a great little find. Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, great decor and furnishings including a...cool serving bar, plenty of seating options and great staff who make you feel so welcomed in their pub. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Friday afternoon and walking in we were greeted by a very pleasant member of staff who took our order of a beer each ,we opted to have one of their draught beers and went for Kasztelen niepasteryzowane and these beers were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great place we were in. The beer was outstandingly good, very hoppy and very easy to drink indeed . We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed with this great pub. This pub is easy to locate on Ul Piwna in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,Midday till 2am. A great beer bar and one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area.More

Quirky little bar with local bottled beer. Nice for a quick drink. The owner was friendly and recognised us when we went in the second time. Not the cheapest place in the city, but quite nice.
