If you want superb coffee, breakfast, cakes, "honzovy buchty"(pastry filled with jam/poppy seeds...) you must visit this lovely cozy café. Really friendly service (barista), but if you meet owner, he is the best of all :D

Not worth of your time.

First of all, quality of food was good, that is only plus. On another hand everything was beyond reasonable expectation. Prices are high, for what we receive. Two loaves of bread, scrambled eggs, microscopic amount of tomato salad, butter, cottage cheese and refill of tap water. I left the place hungry. That's for 160 czk. Given that location is away from historic sites, interior includes post communistic chairs, menu is only in Czech I would say it's way too expensive. In Krakow for the same price you can eat more, better with great view and coffee refill.

Me and my family waited 50 minutes for our breakfast. They have no menu in english, but service is really nice. And the food is average in quality

Pleasant staff that prepares a coffee to your liking

In covid times, I was attending an event called Fenstr Tour. This café was one of the few that wanted to keep their customers in the time of lock down and provide good coffee to go. What I repeatedly appreciate the most about the place is its staff. Pleasant, and always willing to give you a coffee that you like exactly as you like it. This is why do you go to any café. A way to go, Buchta B!

Amazing place!

Enjoy great coffee, delicious breakfast and special czech cake - buchta! Place with the unique spirit which is maden by its owners, who also give you useful tips for interesting places to visit in Brno! Definitely must go there!

This place really has an friendly atmosphere and on top of that staff is welcoming you with a smile on their faces. We ordered delicious homemade cake and of course coffee which was very tasty as well. Place where english speaking people are welcome. ‼️😊

Super friendly English speaking staff and great offer

One of the best cafés I have ever attended. And all thanks to the staff. I was waited by both the woman and the man that work at the place and I felt like I'm really served with friendliness and hospitality. The stuff speaks fluently English, it's very friendly and outspoken to everyone, especially the waiter. There was a lot of both foreign and Czech customers at the café at the time I was there. You can get your drink customized in the way that you like. For example, when I was paying, I told the waiter that I had expected more dense hot chocolate, as it was too watery. He told me that the next time I should tell him my preferences so he prepares the hot chocolate from coconut milk, or maybe with regular milk, but add with less watery ingredients. I'm looking forward to that. The place itself is not so big so it might happen that you take the last free seats, or you don't take the seats at all. The waiter told me that they plan to make the seating space bigger and include the room(s) at the back part of the café. The offer of the menu is wide, full of alternatives and the products/drinks that you don't find elsewhere in Brno, or at least not all at the same place. I heard that the place is also worthy of visit because of the breakfast menu, but I haven't tried it myself. For me, it doesn't matter if you are coffee-Nazi, you like to try new drinks, or if you want to chill out only with friends with nothing specific in your mind, I recommend this place as it's worthy of experience.

Usually the owners themselves will prepare you a perfect brunch and coffee with great care and smile. It's a good place for remote workers thanks to the early opening hours, bright interior and tasteful music in the background.

One of the best specialty coffee shops in Brno. Great batch brew, filter, spros and EK shots! And their buchtas are just amazing, definitely worth it to go a little off the centre. Thank you Tom!
