Really good local cuisine restaurants...and non-smoking! Great staff and good range of local foods and wine. Recommend booking to avoid disapointment.

Last night of our journey in Prague, we were searching for good restaurants on Trip advisor and found this restaurant. We decided to go there and made the reservation. Even though we arrived there little bit earlier, they were happy to serve us. We ordered "Goose liver paté, cucumber, white bread" and "Prague smoked ham with creamy horseradish, honey-apple chunks"... More

We had been eyeing this place before even arriving in Prague. Making a reservation on their website was easy and it is nice that they have an English version of the site available as well. Even though we arrived 30 minutes before our reservation we were still sat right away. The menu here is quite large and anyone should be... More

We looked for a place close to the Corinthia Hotel on 9 January 2017 near Vyserhad and found this gem. The ambience was amazing and the service was the best. Food - authentic Czech food that was to die for and exceptional value. Enjoyed it so much that we booked another night for the following Wednesday. A must visit in... More

Traditional Czech food was so delicious. The duck leg with red cabbage and dumplings was fabulous. What could be better with a Czech beer? And the pancake dessert was to die for. The atmosphere was lively yet quite enough to have a conversation. Service was great and all the staff were so nice. Highly recommend.

Reserve in advance since this place is always packed. Good food, good ambiance, good quality/price. Try it while in Prague!

U Kroka was a great relief, compared to packed but very average restaurants in the city center. To begin with, it requires a reservation, especially during the holiday season, but not because of the tourist groups: we were there 2 times (first for dinner and next day for lunch), and got an impression that the majority of guests were locals.... Great restaurant and fantastic food/wine. We booked upon recommendation which was wise as it's south of Prague and took a special journey. Very attentive staff, but not rushed. Very good value so ended up going twice in a week.

A great place with a casual feeling and service. U Kroka has a delicious tartar as a starter and brilliant meat dishes from pork, beef, chicken and even rabbit. Also the selection of Czech is good and I liked their Pinot Noir very much.

Description
We are non-smoking small family restaurant focused mainly on Czech cuisine. All of our meals are made without any glutamate, dyes, condiments and other preservatives. To flavor dishes we use just salt, pepper and fresh herbs.

Permanent menu starts at 3pm every weekday. The lunch menu is available from 11am till 3pm until then, but with very limited offer and especially for local people. Regular menu is then available all weekend plus we do weekend specials.
