Went here for my birthday. Goodness their food is so tasty and very generous portions! Prices are sooo reasonable for what you get. Must eat place. Defo book a space for dinner to avoid disappointment. Service was very swift and friendly.

After reading the reviews we walked for 2km and stepped in one busy wednesday evening. Although the place was almost full and we had no reservation, the staff cleared a table for us. Food was excellent and the atmosphere authentic. Also the prices are really reasonable. Almost everything has been said about this place and in this case it is... More

The place is like time machine. Once you go in, you are back in history. For starter we had fried small fish, just fantastic. For the main courses I took mixed grill with veggies and my partner fried trout. This food is at heavy side to be eaten with great Czech bier. Value for money is wonderful. Strong recommendation.

I've only been there for lunch, once last year and now twice on my most recent visit. It's busy , you have to be there early in order to choose from the few dishes offered, you may have to wait but oh so worth it. The waiter helped me choose a nice wine, cost more than the meal but the... More

My son is studying in Prague and he recommended this place. The kid is smart (I know, of course he is), as this turned out to be a real gem. A warm, cozy environment with top notch service and really good Czech cuisine (pork knee!) as well as more Western style cuts of meat. It was a really enjoyable meal,... More

We were staying this side of Prague anyway and I chose this restaurant because if the great Tripadvisor reviews. We weren't let down. Warm friendly restaurant. Very busy (Tuesday night). Lovely helpful staff. Delicious food. I would certainly advise you to make the trip out of town unless you enjoy tourist food ;-)

Went to this restaurant for a late dinner in Prague. We decided to walk there from the center and we're initially surprised by its location which is quite far from the tourist are of the city. The restaurant itself is quite small and the design of interior looks very authentic (after all it was established in 1892). Even though we cam... More

We ate at this restaurant after our visit to Vysehrad Friendly service, nice decor, great food and decent pricing Noticed that the place was frequented by locals which is always a good indication of a competent restaurant

We booked a table here based on other Tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed! It was a long walk from where we were staying in the old town but it gave a chance to do some exploring, we arrived over an hour early but were seated straight away and got stuck into some beers. The food was fabulous -... More

Description
We are non-smoking small family restaurant focused mainly on Czech cuisine. All of our meals are made without any glutamate, dyes, condiments and other preservatives. To flavor dishes we use just salt, pepper and fresh herbs. Come and try!

Permanent menu starts at 3pm every weekday. The lunch menu is available from 11am till 3pm until then, but with very limited offer and especially for local people. Regular menu is then available all weekend plus we do weekend specials.
