This restaurant is located slightly outside the tourist zone but only 2-3 tram stops from the Prague castle (Pohorelec tram station). The prices are consequently slightly lower compared to the City centre but the food is really excellent. It was also appreciated by my local quests. The service was efficient and with smile. A place to recommend

Service level is above average though sometimes , prices are average, steaks are cheaper than normally, very wide range of beers - everybody will choose his favorite. Meals are of good quality, beer are great.

Wife and I went there with friends, three very friendly locals. Got to eat traditional Czech cousine that suddenly tasted great and like I heard it's supposed to be when my mom was telling me about it. She lived in Prague in the mid 60's prior to the "Prague Spring". Service was great, the ambient very pub-like but in a... More

The beer was very good, coming from private brewery Bernard in Humpolec. The service is quick but "cold". The food (tried on two occasions) very much below my expectations. I have tried the burger which really tasted like overdone sausage (I requested "medium"). This is a pity since the burger is actually advertised as made from premium meat (in the... More

We came here on advice of popular tour writer, Steves, and apparently it had changed since his last edition. We did not find the old quaint restaurant, but instead a fresh pub. Other reviewers are spot on, smoking in one section, small portions but enough for us, very inexpensive. We found the food to be very tasty, would go back... More

If you come to Prague. Take the 22 tram to bila hora. Get off at stop drinopol . The atmosphere and The service And the food are divine..prices are cheaper than in the main tourist attractions.. If you want great local beer and a great location. Come and find the Bernard pub.

New management, apparently, since October, 2014, but really good food and delicious beer. Friendly service, and a real no-smoking area. Excellent value for money, and convenient to the number 22 tram.
