We have visited the place based on high ratings- definitely worth the ratings- good food, charming atmosphere, excellent service and despite crowded, they have given the people time to enjoy the food and even to sit around and chat without hurrying..liked the place

The restaurant is amazing. Beautiful and full of history. It was the cafe visited by Albert Einstein. We order one hamburger and one Gnocchi with prawns. Both were amazing. You don't need to wait for table, just enter and just the best one for you.

We saw reviews of Cafe Louvre online and are so happy we tried it! It's not the type of place you just 'happen upon.' You need to have an address and look for it. Great selection and amazing food! It was very busy when we got there, but we were able to find a table without too much of a... More

Not sure why it's named Louvre, but has a more Central European rather than Parisian feel. I must say I had my most favourite Earl Grey tea outside the UK here, and a pretty amazing plum strudel. Pleasant enough to sit here; rather a production-line feel to the service, but certainly efficient and polite enough.

It is such a beautiful place. The entrance in quite small and one could miss it quite easily, but then in the first floor, the whole place opens and you feel like you were in Paris straight away. And actually, you're in Prague. Great service. We went there twice for breakfast. The staff are quick and very nice. They speak... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my confit duck leg - it was beautiful. Ordered burgers for the kids but neither ate them (they had a taste of lavender to them). Would definitely recommend but maybe not for fussy kids.

There are 2 parts to this restaurant on the 2nd floor - the café that faces Narodni street and the restaurant to the back. Casual, comfortable eatery with good food and service.

I made a reservation and had a lovely experience but I saw a lot of people who did not make a reservation and did not get as good of customer service. I highly suggest a reservation if you plan to eat here. It is worth a visit!! The service was good to me and the food was delicious--hot chocolate is... More

This is my always go-to place when I visit Prague. Beautiful place with Art Deco decorations, central location and delicious meals. I had beef soup, svickova and plum beer. I recommend all of it. You can never go wrong with this combination.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
