Had a very nice dinner here for very reasonable price. As starter we wanted to order a portion nachos for two, but the waitress was honest and advised us to only order for 1 person, which was indeed more than enough for 2 people! They were really tasty with nice toppings, not that standard, which I like :) As main... More

We went here at the recommendation and with a Mexican colleague to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Seemed like a good plan... Now I used to live in Southern California, have recently returned from Texas and last year was in Mexico on holiday, so I am a bit of a discerning eater when it comes to Mexican. First and foremost the... More

Le Casa Blu has for many years been the local hangout for some of our friends when visiting Prague and quickly became the same on our trip. The place hasn't changed at all the last twenty or so years, but the food is good and the beer is cheep. So prepare to eat well, drink a lot and have plenty... More

My wife and I decided on this little restaurant for dinner during our recent stay in Prague, and we were very pleased with the quality of the food. Other reviewers commented on the seating and yes they have hard wooden chairs, however in fairness, I thought this was to replicate a Mexican cantina sort of theme. Anyway, on to the... More

Went there with colleagues and we had booked a table for around 10 people. We were seated at a table comfortably fitting maybe 7. We were squeezed in pretty tight. They never offered us a better table either which was a shame, although it might have been reserved already for someone else. The food itself was really good, especially the... More

Myself along with 5 other American friends went to La Casa Blu with high expectations thanks to the reviews on here. The restaurant was barren, but we were denied entry because they didn't have any tables due to reservations. Walked past after finding an accommodating restaurant and alas, there were as many open tables as before.

1 minute walking from the very heart of the centre - at first I thought of an Italian restaurant (Italian and Spanish use the same words sometimes) but then realized it was a Mexican one... and then again I understood more cultures are involved and the whole universe of "Spanish-speaking" countries seems to be covered here. I liked the informal... More

Whenever we plan a night out with colleagues and friends, La Casa Blu is at the top of our list. Not only that we love their Nachos!- we also know that their menu is varied and of the best quality. Drinks at a very reasonable price with a great choice going from beer to special beverages. If you want to... More

An unique place in Prague. Founded in 1996 by two Latinomericans. Non smoking, Czech-Latin American cafe, bar and restaurant. Lunch Specials Mo.-Fr. From 12h. 106 CZK incl. Soup.
La Casa Blu is the meeting point of Praguers, expats and visitors. It's situated just in the very downtown, near to frecuanted places as The Old Town Square, The Jewish quarter and the Municipal House.
Very nice atmosphere, great cuisine and friendly service.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
