Vinohradsky pivovar is a brewery, restaurant and a music/theatre club. We brew several types of our own beer, usually four or five are on tap at a time. Our main beers are traditionally made Bohemian lagers, but we also brew IPAs, wheat beer and stout. You can peek into the brewery from the main pub room. We serve lunch and dinner, including starters and desserts; our main focus is a new twist on Czech cuisine, such as red meat, game, poultry, sauces, soups and salads. Our ballroom/club can fit up to 150 people for concerts, theatre performances, pub quizzes, stand-up comedy or private parties. We welcome kids and pets. We are a fully non-smoking establishment.

As Expats, we started coming here often as we live very close. Food is so good and you get great value for money. My boyfriend adores the beer, and we are always satisfied. The staff always take the time to speak to us in English...and give us a nice experience, thanks a lot guys!More
This restaurant was also recommended by a trip advisor member and I’m so glad I went
It was only a few minutes walk from my hotel
It’s quite modern hipster and stripped back interior
It was really busy so I was seated downstairs
I chose...duck liver pate as a starter it was scrumptious and for my main I had pork brisket with dumplings both recommended by the lovely waitress
I had some red wine and a beer
I highly recommend eating hereMore
I organised my birthday party (~20 people) at this pub, arranged food prior to the day and agreed on the price with the manager. The food and beer is always good here. But the staff charged us twice (discovered that only after a couple of...days when talking to my friends) for some of the drinks and shots. The biggest disappointment was that they charged me 10% as a tip directly on the bill. They call it ‘service’ and I find it absolutely unacceptable as nobody is obliged to pay a tip! I claimed it to the manager and she confirmed she had forgotten to tell me about it and that it is indeed a tip for their staff. Well, we tipped them anyway that night, not having any idea they actually added that amount (over 25 eur) to the bill directly (paid at the very end). Fortunately, I got my money back but after this experience I am sure to organise future celebrations somewhere else. The same I will recommend to my friends. So be careful and do not agree to pay tips charged directly at the bill!More
We went here as part of a beer tour and really enjoyed it. The staff was actually friendly unlike most places in Prague. The beer flights were good. All enjoyable beers / all different kinds. I think the place has been renovated a bit since...we last came but I have to say we had a great time, good beers, good flights, nice staff and very memorable experience. I even bought a souvenir glass. Highly recommend coming here. Thank you :-)More
Stopped by Vinohradsky Pivovar the other evening for a quick glass of wine and a little casual atmosphere. Very friendly service. Great wine. Enjoyed being outside, chit-chatting with locals. Loved it!!
Authentic, modern Czech. Fabulous food, reasonably priced, lovely staff, good selection of beers - felt like a local! Would definitely recommend - mixed clientele - couples, groups of young people, and my mum and me!! Not touristy at all.
There’s a lot of competition. Based on experience, we’d probably choose Vinohradský Pivovar 2 times out of 3. For a visitor, it seems just right in many respects: It’s neither to small (tiny places can feel uncomfortable and sometimes unwelcoming in Prague if you’re not...a regular) nor too large (very large places can be overwhelming or thronged with tourists). The beer is just perfect so the relatively limited selection is appropriate. If one orders right for the occasion, so is the food, with specials changed up often enough to keep it interesting. Service is efficient and cheerful, more so of course at less crowded hours. On our first evening visit, we were concerned to see a long line on the sidewalk outside, but that just turned out to smokers, who must, thankfully, enjoy their beer outside.More
