The food and the service was great I give it 10/10 Its been so long ago I tasted so good food. I can Definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to have a good night whit great food and drinks the best food in prag.👍
We walked by this Mexican place many times in the past and decided to walk in and check it out. My husband loves Mexican food , almost as much as the traditional Czech food. I was going to go along with it.
When we were...asked if we had reservations, we were surprised. The place was completely empty. Not a single table occupied !
The staff was as unfriendly as could be, but "allowed" us to sit down, order food, and finish it within the time limited to 30 minutes. We did sit down for just few minutes , but decided to leave, when we realized how ridiculous, unfriendly and pompous the whole situation was.
We spoke Czech and perhaps they rather have customers that don't understand the language ? ....
If you crave Mexican food in Prague, make reservations.
Next time in Prague, we will skip it ....More
The food was fabulous, as usual. I and my family go there every time we visit Prague, which is often. The staff are really friendly and the food comes quickly. I would keep an eye out on the prices because my sister ended up ordering...a mango smoothie that cost 140 Koronas!More
The food of CANTINA is so amazing. If you like mexican food, you have to visit this restaurant in Prague. But you have to reserve a table, even in the current situation (Covid-19) it was hard to get a table.
Nice staff, great food and drinks! True Mexico in Prague. Original recipe, excellent taste, fresh ingredients. I warmly recommend. In the evening you will not catch without reservation. I'm not surprised.
Food was tasty. Salsa was nice, and the taco's were different, but different good. The frozen Lime Margarita tasted like shaved ice with tequila (disappointing). WATCH FOR THE SCAMS... But the biggest disappointment was when I paid my bill. I spoke English (first language), I...gave the waiter 2000 Kč, he gave me change for 1000 Kč. BUT HERE IS THE KICKER, I UNDERSTAND CZECH... "všimne si to" WILL HE NOTICE... Yes, I did notice... and the waiter came over with a "smerk" on his face and said "Oh sorry, I forgot". Arrrgggg. Very disappointing... and I came here because I saw the review by Janek on Honest Guide. No tip! I don't think the waiter represents the restaurant, but add this to the weak Lime Margarita, and "No voy a volver aquí otra vez." Burrito Loco will get my Mexican craving next time.More
Visited this small atmospheric place twice within 3 days! Loved the food, it was everything a Mexican should be, generous portions, colourful and spicy. It is great value for money and we were offered the choice of cash or card from the very friendly staff.
I visited with friends while on a short break to prague, a friend had recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The beef burrito was so tasty and good portion sizes too. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch
shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
