Staff was VERY RUDE!! Hostess said if we didn’t have a reservation we only have 30 mins for a drink. All good so far. We were sat at at the back far from “view point”. We asked if we could be moved closer as we...saw there was a few empty tables but they said no cuz it was gonna start raining even tho they still have people sat under canopies. From the minute we sat down we got rushed into everything. Place never got full and there was no need to rush us. Everyone had a face on them as if they had to pay for us to be there. Ask the waitress for the bill and she send somebody else, when this other lady approached with the card machine she charged us the service which then I argue we didn’t have to pay for it as the ticket said “suggested” and i didn’t wish to pay for something it wasn’t worth it. The lady then grab her purse and grabbed a few coins out of it and threw them at the table. The place have bad reviews for food and it’s also a bit pricey that’s why we didn’t choose to dine with them. Let’s be honest, the reason we were there was to get a few pictures and enjoy a drink which we are paying for. But a simple smile is free and manners cost nothing. If you wish to visit this place, get upstairs, don’t order anything and just take your picture. You’ll save a lot of time, energy and effortMore

Typical tourist hot spot, busy and noisy as you would expect located on a main access point to the square. The staff were friendly and spoke English well. The food was a real disappointment! I requested a T bone steak with peppercorn sauce on the...side. I sent the steak back as it was uneatable, full off grissel, very poor quality. The second steak was not much better. A real disappointment. Why would you serve cold peppercorn sauce?? If you advertise as a Steakhouse/grill you need to ensure the meat is off good standard. My wife had the chicken breast and rice which was enjoyable, although could have done with more sauce. I got a sense that this restraunt is more about getting people into seats than the actual quality of the food. I won't be back.More

The most instagrammable view on Prague! Terrace is located on the 4th floor of the Hotel, the entrance is free. There is a menu with cocktails and desserts, variety of breakfast dishes in morning, main menu after 12pm. Free wi-fi. Staff is very average -...don’t expect any friendly service.More

The worst service imaginable. Rude staff that put a service charge on your bill without even making you aware yet this is apparently illegal to do in Prague. Avoid this place like the black plague

Due to no fault of their own there was a medical emergency there was a 30min delay to our booking. We initially got told there should be no problem taking our cocktails from the downstairs bar to our table once “they had cleaned up the...mess”. Once we had already ordered our drinks we got told we couldn’t take them up and would have to finish them. Ok a bit annoying but not a massive problem. The lift was out of order so had to walk up to the terrace. Once at the terrace there seemed to be confusion about us being there (we had a booking, confirmed by the person at the front door). Within minutes we were asked if we were ready to order drinks and then before our drinks arrived and minutes later we were asked if we were ready to order. The food then took 50mins to arrive (and they had to re-confirm with me what I ordered) when it arrived, they got the temperature of the meat wrong, mine was rear and my partners was med/rare but mine was well cooked and my partners almost blue, I ate mine (as couldn’t be bothered complaining) my partner asked for hers to be cooked more. The cheese and bacon chips were nothing special. The food tasted alright nothing special. The staff all seemed a bit ‘dazed’ and not focused. We heard a conversation where a staff member wouldn’t let someone split the bill 50/50 and made the group feel really awkward / confused… the staff member proceeded to get out a calculator and started doing calculations to split the bill (me and my partner couldn’t believe what we were hearing) Heads up there is a 12.5% service charge include on the bill! Wouldn’t recommend going, the only really good thing is the view but even then you can’t see much when seated.More

The service is definitely not adequate to the expectations, especially considering that the prices are overrated compared with the quality. 2 female waitresses very rude and very pushy. They charged 12,5% tip without asking.

We saw this place on an Instagram reel and decided to visit to ensure we got the picture. The drinks prices weren't the cheapest and I don't think the alcohol content was very high compared to other places we visited the same night. Nonetheless it...was pleasant and we didn't find the wait staff to be as rude as on the reviews. Just expect to but a drink whilst here and don't take advantage of just coming up to take pictures without buying oneMore

Very much an “Instagram vs reality” place. Roof top is very underwhelming and nothing like what you see online. Maybe a small terrace but how you get chosen to go on there is anyone’s guess. Service was frosty and the staff were rude. Food came...a bit too quick and cleared my partners plate before I had finished eating. Food was ok- a little cold but tasty. At the end they tell you they’ve put a service charge on, with the amount and make it seem like it isn’t optional. They did not deserve the tip we felt we had to pay. Would avoid and go elsewhere. Very disappointingMore

We visited here late after hearing about the views. This place certainly lived up to expectations, quite possibly the best view of the clock tower and the square. Definitely must visit here when visiting the old town and prices are very reasonable. Big thanks to...Jan for his hospitality and being so accommodating. He gave us some good drinking tips which was a great bonus.More

I would avoid this place at all costs. Rude staff, from the moment you walk in they are very abrupt. Told they are not an attraction. Well if you are a restaurant as you kept saying maybe actually serve your customers. Management should take a...look at this as seems to be an ongoing issue. The blonde woman that greeted us was so unbelievably rude. When we finally was served the waiter was dressed in a coat and apron. Didn't even realise he was staff. View great but not worth it for the overall experience. Not to mention the tip that they clearly didn't deserve! 0 starsMore

We decided on this restaurant for our last lunch before heading back to the airport, mainly for the view. Going in, we knew it is a very touristy spot, but we risked it. We would have been better off somewhere else, and only having a...drink here. Our visit started out OK - the hostess was very nice and seated us. Our table was too close to one of the heating elements, so we switched to a different table, which was OK with the waitstaff, as it wasn’t busy. After our party was complete, we were ready to order. Each of us ordered one drink and one main course, nothing complicated. It took a very long time for the food to arrive, about 45 minutes. We were all getting a bit nervous, as we didn’t anticipate sich a long wait. In the meantime, we could observe the service not just with us, but with tables around us. Overall, the waitress seemed quite rude. A woman at the neighbouring table asked if the daiquiris are gluten free, and the response was “why wouldn’t they?” With us, the treatment was similar, so we avoided asking any questions. When we asked for the check, we asked to split it, which wasn’t possible (again, the place was less than one third occupied). The waitress then went into rapid fire broken English, explaining that the total is 2800 CZK, with the mandatory service charge of 350 CZK this comes to 3150 CZK. She typed it in, and had me tap my card. Afterwards I looked at the bill and saw that 350CZK was the suggested tip, not a mandatory charge. Beware of the tourist traps. Come here for a beer and a few nice pictures, but eat elsewhere - there is amazing food in this city, and much, much better service, This was our only negative experience in Prague.More

We have booked for 8 people on 25th December 2023. Lift up to the top was out of action. Some of us were hard of walking but managed to get to the top. Apparently no one does any repairs during Christmas period. Some of the...outside heaters were not working as they run out of gas and there was no one to bring new once. It was very cold. Ordered drinks, it took them more than 30 minutes to bring it over. Food took for ages to be delivered, but they forgot to bring cutlery. Nobody cleared plates afterwards. Ask for more drinks and another half an hour before they arrived. Asked for bill and ask again and again before we finally were able to pay for extremely overpriced food.More

They would not serve us with drinks only - they required us to also order food only. It was mid afternoon, the place was nowhere near full, so it was not because people were waiting for a table to eat.

We were not impressed with the food and cost så would suggest taking a drink for the view and eating elsewhere. Even if you are a paying guest they charge you extra for standing and taking a picture in the best location.

It depends on how busy they are. Twice I have just had drinks up top on the Terrace as a walk-in (when they are not busy). Of course, they will ask you a couple of times if you would like to stay for dinner:)
