This is a irish pub - not so different from others. But it is non smoking. Good service and good food.

Having been a regular customer for nearly 4 years and experiencing one of Prague's little gems, I am VERY disappointed with the James Joyce since the new ownership took over. The prices have gone up, the quality of food and service has taken a serious nose dive. All in all the crew crew have lost sight of what was special... More

We went here because there isn't inside smoking! It was very crowded, but fun! Remember it was St Patrick's Day! We actually met some people from Ireland! What a good sign! We also had good Irish food! The only thing we were disappointed in was that there was no live music.

We enjoyed several stays there and no matter if you want to enjoy a relaxed evening in an earthly pub or have a sports night - you're always right. Sadly the menue changed a lot and a few of our favorites are missing :(

This was not The Dubliner! Great place to watch sport without the noise, smoke and crowds. Tucked away but worth the short detour

Dropped in for a cosy drink and to keep out of the sub-zero temperatures of Prague in January! What at first seemed like a stereotypical Irish bar you see in many cities, was actually a cosy little bar which seemed to be frequented by locals as much as by tourists, with people coming in to pick up takeaway meals too.... Great pub! Lively and great beer!!! The food in this place lets it down unfortunately, we ordered two sandwiches as we wanted something small. Firstly we both ordered and 1 sandwich didn't show up, had to ask again for it and when it did I was disappointed! The cheese toastie is very disappointing! Basically a panini with loads of onion... Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
