Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Two toothpicks hidden in a sandwich. It doesn't look very serious. I wrote to the establishment, no response and even less an apology. The staff is not very friendly and very expensive considering the quality of cheese and charcuterie. By the way, you will meet...a lot of Czechs and Russians but never an Italian customer (and I have been frequenting the establishment occasionally since it opened many years ago)More

Read about this place on a Prague food guide; we had a nice meal here on a Saturday evening with no reservation. Food and drinks were great and service was good too. Thanks!

Service was friendly and on point. Pizza was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. we stayed for breakfast and then a spot of lunch. Great for large numbers, if you book ahead.

The rugged atmosphere in this restaurant in an old workshop shouldn't fool you; neither food nor service is up to mark. Service is rude and slow. When we came we had to wait several minutes before a waiter came to bring us to a table....Meanwhile we noticed several waiters who were having a chat in a corner. Nobody brought menus, in the end we went to get them ourselves. Food is overpriced and very basic/traditional, with an overuse of fats and oil. There is little attention to detail. For instance in a course of pasta with frutti di mare the only (!) mussel had not opened when cooked (and hence should have been discarded), the pasta was overcooked and the tomato sauce oily. A fritto misto with seafood was fatty and tasteless. For pizza and atmosphere this restaurant might be worth visiting, but not for high class food.More

The interior design is great and I love the shops attached to the restaurant. The two dishes I ordered were both tasty and recommendable. The minestrone was great. The service was not great. I was not greeted and had to approach a waiter who was...daydreaming. I was seated and took a look at the menu. It was in Czech although I clearly spoke English. I ordered a drink but the wrong drink was delivered. I ordered a soup which was served without the spoon and without any bread (the table next to me got bread and in general much better service as well). Nobody checked if I enjoyed the food. The waiter was very interested in how much tip I am entering to the credit card terminal (the tip was only for the taste of the food). So maybe I was unlucky with the service, but the food was good. I would come back, but another poor service experience, and I’m gone for good.More

We recently made a return visit after several years. Even though we felt the place had lost its 'ad-hoc' feel, it presented itself as a smart, well-appointed eatery with efficient wait-staff and a lively atmosphere. We were delighted to be seated within just a few...minutes on what was evidently quite a busy weekend. All signs were good with the sampling of the first Rose (Brancaia rosato, Toscana 2021, 129 Kc/glass), and as vegetarians we found the menu passable, if a little uninventive. So far, so good. However, the dishes themselves were, quite simply, substandard - poorly seasoned and undercooked. The paccheri alla crema d melanzane (269 Kc) was far too al dente to the point of being chewy, and the sauce was unevenly warm and cool - possibly microwaved. It was bland in color and flavor and required heavier additional seasoning than I would have liked. The tagliolini ai gamberi (319 Kc) was better in terms of heating and seasoning (if not quantity) but later caused a mild stomach reaction, which it is difficult to attribute to anything other than the seafood. Less than impressed. I am a relatively generous tipper. No tip this time - sorry.More

Overall a very nice meal, not expensive and nicely cooked. Shame they couldn't accommodate adding a simple sliced cucumber to our children's pizza (which they love), was hardly a big ask for a live kitchen and many restaurants do fine with a small request. Previous...reviews indicated a good atmosphere indicating music, unfortunately for us there was no back-ground music even so the atmosphere was quite bland. Due to this we likely won't be returning since it is a little way out of the main town & when walking back there were several boat restaurants that had more atmosphere for the family to enjoy to try for the future.More

Very nice relaxing lunch with my friends. Good atmosphere with live piano music, fresh green asparagus with pasta, pizza piccante and professional services provided by Zuzana and Hanka. Bravo!

The service was the worse, the guy attending us was slow and was not able to bring cheese and even spoon, the menu is very small, not so much to choose, the ordered food normal but it took to long, even with few people in...the restaurant and the price for such experience really doesn't deserve. Before it was much better, such a big change, unfortunately for worseMore

I've known this place since their beginning, but went dining only recently a couple of times. Their meals are just fantastic (just as the products they sell). We tried their Linguine with shrimps and a Burger. Burger was exceptionally good, so !!!thumbs up!!!. But you...get excellent burgers elsewhere as well. However, the Linguine literally created an explosion of taste in our mouths. Definitely recommended!!More

This is the best restaurant I've ever been to, the staff always has a smile on their face. Whenever we are here, the restaurant is full, but even so, the staff is fast, nice and, most importantly, handy. I always leave a dagger here because...it's really worth it! This is a great choice for all who want to visit Prague. (and I dare recommend tasting their pasta with tomatoes and shrimps)More

This use to be one of the hottest places in Prague. Now it just sucks. The wait staff is useless and the food is just average. On top of that, they increased their prices! It is so sad to see such a nice place go...down the toilet 🙁More
