Modern, but yet intimate setting. Pro-active service, French sommelier? We enjoyed a great meal at a very reasonable price. Duck tartare was a novelty, but one would not know that the tartare was made of duck; anyhow, delicious. Stuffed quail was quite a large one, but well prepared. Certainly better than Coda at 2/3 of the price.

A cool local Prague quality restaurant that has many famous artists and local actors. Amazing food with incredible detail. At a wonderful value. The street has some of the coolest places for locals and the real tourists. D Nicolas Lyras- London Foreign Press

We stopped in here to grab dinner without really knowing what to expect. First off, we went and got a set menu meal. We had heard great things about the food and wanted to sample as much of it as we could. The waitress (great English) also told us about some wine pairing options and we decided to roll the... More

Great food, live piano music and service. Our waitress Anita was wonderful. The paintings on the walls were vibrant and eclectic.

We came for the birthday of my father, we didn't expect to be in such a beautiful and lovely place. An artist was playing really good music (por exemple pink floyd and led zeppelin). The waitress (kate) is so far the most lovely waitress i met, she is friendly and really professional at the same time, she knows what she... More

We tested 3 starters, Main courses and deserts. We spent almost 4 hours there and you wish I can never stop eating. The waiters was excellent in wine pairing. For... More

Enjoyed a nice meal with live music. Cosy atmosphere with a tasting menu or a la carte, would recommend a la carte as main dish was quite large. Starters were the best, goat cheese & boar carpaccio were both delicious.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
