This a really nice place which I visit from time to time. I usually go with friends and we always have a good time. The food is really really good. The stuff speaks English and they are very helpful. It's a place I recommend to...More

Thank you for your review, sir. We are trying our best! and yes, we are aware of the smoke situation, unfortunately, there is not much to do until the smoking law will get through(((....with the best regards team TB

I can understand other reviewer's complaints about smoking, and clearly Czech is still a bit behind in the valuing clean air respect. But I made the trip across town to find some wings at True Blue and was rewarded with the best wings I have...More

Dear Josh, thank you for your review. We truly appreciate it and it was very nice to meet you. It is always our pleasure to have people from overseas. We are aware of the smoking situation, yet, unfortunately, it is still a custom here...We wish...More

Good beer and great burgers at reasonable prices. There´s much else to add. My only complaint is the "air quality." Like most places in Prague you can smoke in there and in winter when the doors are closed you can smell the kitchen even in...More

Dear sir, thank you for your opinion, we always appreciate that. We are truly sorry about the air condition and we are aware of it. Unfortunately, we only lease the space; therefore, we can not touch the exhaust air system (as much as we would...More

Quite good pub-like restaurant. We had quite nice burgers and quite ok service. Nothing bad but nothing exceptional as well. Probably will look for something else next time.

The food here is wonderful and the value is almost better! The wings are especially tasty, make sure you get the buffalo wings, at least medium spicy for a really nice kick! We took the special for 2 so there was a selection of wings,...More

Came here were work colleagues prior to going to the U21 final. Order took over an hour, drink orders had to be chased, really poor service. Would save your time and go elsewhere!!!

We are sorry for your poor experience! To my knowledge, the manager spoke to you and apologized for the situation since the restaurant got slammed and once by 50 people. Truly sorry but that was a unexpected and unique situation...with the best regard True Blue

Loved it here. Just around the corner from our rented apt. Had the chicken wings and jalapeño poppers as starters both delicious. And the Mexico and French burger. Both tasted great, and we're fairly cheap! Only downside is smoking is allowed inside. Cozy atmosphere

True Blue is a nice place for lunch or dinner with friends. It's small, but cosy. Prices for food and cocktails are really nice.

True Blue is the kind of place tucked back in a corner of Prague that you would never stumble across if you weren't specifically looking for it. I had passed it before and shrugged it off as another Czech place that does American-style food badly....More

Small neighborhood Czech pub that specializes in American hamburgers. Great value and good service. I liked being able to find an American hamburger in the Czech Republic

True blue’ is supposed to derive from the blue cloth that was madeat Coventry, England in the late middle ages. The town’s dyers had a reputation for producing material that didn’t fade with washing, i.e. it remained ‘fast’ or ‘true’. The phrase ‘as true as Coventry blue’ originated then and is still used (in Coventry at least).“Coventry had formerly the reputation for dying of blues; insomuch that true blue became a Proverb to signifie one that was always the same and like himself.”The change from the literal ‘fast’ coloured cloth to the allusory ‘steadfast’ loyal supporters came around the time that Ray was writing his book of proverbs. The Covenanters were a group of 17th century Scottish Presbyterians who swore to uphold the National Covenant and oppose the rule of James IV of Scotland. They wore blue as their badge and those who unequivocally supported the cause were called ‘true blue’. Loyal and unwavering in one’s opinions or support for a cause.True Blue (except the perfect match with the facade of the building) - family owned czech-american style restaurant with the focus on the genuine and honest cuisine. Our priority is the hospitality and absolute satisfaction of our guests. Our loyalty is based on elimination of shopping for the “reject” products, ready to-cook-meals or “re-using”the food. The owners personally control quality and freshness of theproducts and as much as possible support domestic articles (f.e. buying the fresh meat daily from the local butcher shop selling only products from the czech breeding).True Blue - the menu is inspired by the traditional czech cuisine and the long term stay in the United States. We recommend not only to try one of our popular burgers or american steaks but traditional goulash with house made dumplings and always fresh beef tartar as well.True Blue - have a great time and enjoy your meal with us…We appreciate your visit and we are looking forward to be seeing you again!
