Came here as we wanted to have home food. But the food taste & quality was nothing Indian. We ordered : 1. Dal Makhani : tangy taste 2. Chicken Vindaloo : very tangy taste 3. Chicken Curry : OK 4. Garlic Naan : There was shreads of garlic thrown in top of a normal naan :). Also Naan was like... More

We went for lunch it was pathetic. The staff was ill-mannered. The food was also bad. The prices were really high. Very expensive. You can find some good Indian restaurant in nearby. Going to this is wastage of time and money.

The waiter was SO rude, he rolled his eyes when we asked about the strength of the curry, when we asked for drinks, he snatched the menus from our hands If... More

The food was simply great. Had jalfrezi chicken and tandoori chicken with naan, Gulab jamuna and kulfi. Not too pricy, and the food was of a great quality. Definitely need to remember for future visits!

We were walking by when we saw this Indian restaurant and thought of giving it a try. I had dal makhani which was v okay. It was more like home cooked dal and not the the ones that you generally get at restaurants which are more thicker and flavorful. I also tried their paneer makani which was chef special but... More

Our experience was so bad at this restaurant and is definitely not recommended for a Young group of Indians who quite like their food with the absolute flavors. The only thing my friends liked was the dal there but I quite didn't find the food normal Indian tasting. The service was extremely inhospitable as the server didn't want to give... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
