I accidentally stumbled across this place after taking out one of the pedalos. I can honestly say, this is one of the best outdoor bars I have ever been to. The live music was simply brilliant both days, and the drinks and food were good too! Almost missed my flight home because I was spending so much time there! Superb... More

Every day pretty good live music. Good bier, poor meal, speedy service. Overpriced. Unforgettable atmosphere.

Visit again After 4 years - what a mistake. Prices are doubeld up in 4 years, a klobassa that isn't typical czech, low taste, low fat, smooth grilled - Never again. Bürger for 10 .-€ with 100g Meat and 2 hands of frech fries.......forget that. Bier is 58.-, are you Crazy? The view is excellent, but if I'm only Look... More

We were tipped off about this place from a local who knew about it. We went on a Saturday and there were a couple of stag parties going on which added to the humour of the afternoon. Although the staff were occasionally grumpy, and the drinks were double the price of other places it was the best place in Prague,... More

I can not fault this funky little bar at all. The venue is right on the river where you can see the birds and people paddle boating on the water, they have live music which really adds to the atmosphere, it's open plan with the breeze, the beer is cheap and delicious, they sell the most amazing sausages with pickles... Really great setting, with live music. The reason for 3 stars only, is that it said on the website that it is open till 23 and we were kicked out (gently) at 9. I was also unable to reach them on the phone so any check for the schedule or reservation was not possible. Only 2 choices of beer which... More

this place has good views however the staff is rude and aggressive. the bill is inflated with cover charges and sometimes even with extra drinks. food is also pretty average. not worth it.

On a Czech sunny day this is a perfect place to chill out with some friends and grab a couple of beers in this beer-garden. Haven't tried the food so no opinion about the menu-card. The beers (Staropramen) are good and not even that expensive for a place like this. Next to the river with a couple of stunning views... More

On a long weekend with my SF, we have been there twice. It was warm, the sun was setting and somewhere in the garden right next to the shore of the Vlatla two guys were making accoustic music. Together with beer and food in the sunshine. What more do you want.

Came to Prague on a stag weekend as 'father of the bride'. Came upon this place first day and visited it every day thereafter. Great service, inexpensive beer and kept a group of boisterous lads well away from the other guests, while still making us welcome. A few of the boys had food which was excellent. Heard two different musicians... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
