Unfortunately the steak my wife ordered was spoiled so we had to discuss this with the waitress for a while. She initially refused to believe that the meat was off. Other than that the food was OK. However, the restaurant was a little chilly. If you are staying at Aparthotel City 5, take the time to walk another 100-200 meters... More

If you're looking for typical Czech food, in a typical Czech restaurant, far from tourists areas ypu need to go there. It is mainly frequented by Czech People and Czech food is very good, and very cheap. I recommend the gulash and, when it is the season, venison. It is simply excellent. Expect max 10 euros for a 3-courses lunch... More

This restaurant doesnt look much from the outside and inside good do with a bit of updating but the food was great. We had a venison stew and a roast duck to share with a side of green beans and bacon all of which tasted great and the portions - especially the duck were very generous. The wine, which was... More

I was there with a group of friends - in spite of its location, the restaurant offers a good choice of meals. The food we had was fresh and nicely cooked unlike in most Czech restaurants in this category. The staff are friendly and professional, prices fair.

Came here having just arrived at our hotel next door. It was very busy, bar upstair with restaurant downstairs. Seemed to be a couple of parties going on. Menu had a good choice, not sure whether we should order at the bar or table, I stood up only to be told by the waiter, quite sternly, to sit back down,... More

Our bus station was less than a block away and we arrived at noon. We went here on a TA tip (thanks!). The food was classic Czech with a game twist, venison sausage was great. Prices for lunch were very reasonable.

We ate here twice, always daily menu. Food was great, made from good ingredients. Price for daily menu is very fair. During first attendance we were served by very confused waitress, but during the second, everything was alright.

We visited on the last night of our stay following a recommendation from our hostess Kristina (we were staying at the Aparthotel just a couple of doors down). Known throughout our trip as 'the deer place' - as deer featured heavily on the menu and the decor. Part pub, part restaurant - bar area upstairs permits smoking, with a more... More
