A cozy environment with a friendly service. The food was quite good and the strudel was really good. A good experience all in all

Place looks ok, but then it's only getting worse. Food was just terrible. We were all hungry, but end up leaving most of our dishes. Avoid.

It was the worst experience I have in Prague. I went to this restaurant only because I saw it was the TripAdvisor winner 2014, although now I don't understand how. First the waiter served the wrong food and didn't want to change for me. When I paid the bill, I gave some tip. However, the waiter insisted that I need... More

Waiters are very kind, but do not beilive in their false aspect: they are totally dishonest, in the check prices were increased of 20% compared to the list, and when we asked explenation we were said that this is the service price. Furthermore they use a wrong FX change and we have been waiting more than 30 mins to have... More

We left the place, very angry, for many things: terrible service, terrible wait time, terrible food and more important they add 20% tip, the euro change is 20% more! Its a big deception. DO NOT GO IN THERE! Worst place in Prague...

Please do not eat here! We sat down because it was raining and we were quite hungry. We waited a long time for our food, and when it came there was a mistake so we waited again. When the bill came we were outraged - they added garlic bread when all I got was a plain bread and they automatically... More

I sat outside on the terrace surrounded by plants, and arty touches, you could tell the people that ran the place cared about the impression, and it did make a lovely impression on me. Normally in Czech Republic you often will need to order vegetables or salad, then potatoes or chips, or whatever you like to go with your main... More

This place is definitely not a place to go! As many others critics, the staff are terrible and they charged us more than expected. The "service" ( terrible ) was added at the Bill by handwriting and depends "on how many people were served". In front of the restaurant an advertising made us stay in there, we ordered our drinks... Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
