Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We came based on recommendations & left confused as to why Michelin is positive on this restaurant. Before we get to the terrible service, let’s start with the food. 1st dish was Salmon marinated in orange juice was light & fresh. 2nd was delicious mussels...& clams in spicy sauce … food started to go down from here. Turkey & Scallop dumplings didn’t work; pork belly was cold with the watermelon was overpowered by hoisin sauce; & soft shell crab was crazy over/salted. Main of pork neck with mushrooms, fried rice was ok, but both corn & flatbread was dry. I ordered wine pairing, but waiter forgot after 2nd dish & we realised an early exit was preferred as time between every dish was dragging. Overall, dinner tonight failed on service, food & ambiance. We were impatient to leave & that says a lot.More

We have visited Sansho yesterday and we enjoyed our time until we paid. The waiter has charged us 10% more by adding up to the total amount without me instructing him to do so. I believe he did it with hope that we will not...notice! This is unacceptable and we will definitely not visit again.More

Five stars for the excellent food, but I gave four stars for the whole experience. Service was kind, but not seamless all the way: No menu cards or description of the dinner menu available. No wine recommendations available even if we asked. Did I already...mention that rhe foid was excellent? ;)More

Sansho has always served excellent food but the service has always been lackluster. Yesterday's visit, however, was highly disappointing. The usually excellent soft shell crab buns were nothing like they used to be, the buns weren't fluffy and the crab tasted and felt like fried...shells only- with no meat inside. We were told that the new chef needs to learn how to make the buns when we pointed this out... The worst part, however, was the service which is best described as amateurism with a dab of arrogance. Sansho needs to step up their game or will no longer be considered to be one of Prague's best.More

Having been visiting Prague for years its a pleasure to see the beautiful city coming back to life after Covid. On our recent trip we had really great food in da Mateo and the excellent newly opened Sagrado (a real find) but we ended with...this old friend and it remains as innovative, delicious and brilliantly executed as ever. We had the tasting menu. You'd be daft not to. It is as everyone says quite an experience with especially authentically intense Thai and Asian flavours and techniques handled with taste, orginality and skill.More

"Caramelized pork with coconut rice" can be ordered as a take out and the taste is satisfying. The ginger soy sauce flavored and caramelized pork taste creates nice harmony with coconut flavored rice and sour papaya salad. Once you order it, it takes around 20min...for it to be prepared. I would definitely order again. The packaging is basic, just like what you might find from a cheap Vietnamese/Indian restaurant. No branding. No experience. No thoughtfulness. It feels a bit pricy for one dish take away meal - 325CZK - I wish they gave a bit of a thought to take out clients, for example, adding some experience/service factor to the take away packaging. Somehow the food and packaging do not go well together.More

Unique place. A must when in Prague. Just go, let yourself be guided by the staff and enjoy. It’s a bit pricey. But it’s a unique experience

I had the beef curry with lime leaf & jasmine rice. It tasted great and it was a good portion. Prices were quite fair.

Had a really great dining experience here. The vegetarian tasting menu was a delight with a great variety of tastes and textures and all delicious. The service was friendly and knowledgeable and the meal complimented by excellent local wine. The “bit of everything” desert just...topped it off beautifully -recommended!More

You will love it. Let the kitchen do their thing for that day. Don’t book too late on Saturday. Food might run out

Probably not, but maybe make one to avoid disappointment. It isn't a huge place.
