I had the beef curry with lime leaf & jasmine rice. It tasted great and it was a good portion. Prices were quite fair.

Had a really great dining experience here. The vegetarian tasting menu was a delight with a great variety of tastes and textures and all delicious. The service was friendly and knowledgeable and the meal complimented by excellent local wine. The “bit of everything” desert just...topped it off beautifully -recommended!More

We ate on a sat night, they have no al la carte on fixed menu which they tailored for me as I dont eat meat. The price is expensive for Prague but worth it for a treat meal. The restaurant itself looks quite basic but...it adds to the atmosphere.More

Wonderful meal from start to finish. Cocktails excellent, meal to follow all a surprise, salmon sashimi, cockles in a beef broth, beef tartare, pork belly, soft shell crab and red Thai beef to finish. Excellent wine recommendations and fab service with a smile throughout. Would...visit again in a heartbeat.More

Two words - simply delicious. Discret place, simple interior, beautiful mini flower ikebanas on the tables. Waiters were sweethearts; we had overview on the small kitchen. No smells, no loud music. Just fantastic small dishes of endless choice... Small "bloody mary" as welcoming drink, with...surprise oyster inside, to swallow with cocktail... and the rest of our dinner was a dream. I got a bit stuck on "burger" with wasabi sos (bit too spicy for me), but that is personal taste. Bravo chef!More

Excellent service, excellent food. Food came out very quick, and the waitress explained what was being served. Will always recommend to anyone who's going to Prague.

Sansho is an enjoyable experience. Excellent value and mostly perfect all around. I won’t spill all the details on the food or menu, because who doesn’t love a little bit of mystery? I gave these folks five stars since this type of cuisine is pretty...much novelty at this point in Prague. The food is good to excellent (excellent if you’ve not had similar dishes around the world). The front of the restaurant is very welcoming with nice ambient lighting, a compact service/Bar and an “L” shaped dining room that includes the kitchen to the rear. The dining space beyond the kitchen is set up in a similar “L” shape with surprisingly cold institutional lighting. Unfortunately, this space doesn’t create the same warm atmosphere and feels a bit disconnected from the other charming dining room. Everyone was super nice, friendly, and professional. Service was consistent and always spot on. We loved the interesting drink options. All the plates were presented beautifully along with a brief but thorough explanation of ingredients. A few of the dishes were unnecessarily over the the top salt wise-to the point of not wanting to sop up the tasty broth or sauces we normally would (hello clams with brioche soldiers, hello steak). Even being familiar with the different ingredients and foods they were “fusing”, some of the nuance and balance was lost amongst the salt. What the restaurant nailed was spectacular. We thought the crab Bao was nothing short of perfect-generously sauced, pillowy melt in the mouth bun, green onions and crispy crispy crustacean. The lamb with shiso, chili and palm sugar- stand out and outstanding. We loved the oyster shooter and its combo of sweet, briny, hot, tangy and creamy. Loved the pineapple infused tequila. Loved the iced bison grass vodka with slight coconut finish that stood in for my preferred food friendly drink of choice (sake). Value overall was excellent. The two menu items that could have been improved-were simply too heavy on salt (miso and soy). Small party foul easily corrected. Same for the lighting and also some noise mitigation.. Sansho’s ambient noise level was not tolerable for the most part. We had two different sets of 12 tops during our meal. Both were loud, especially the second group. Sansho doesn’t seem like a restaurant that you would encounter group dinners shouting full volume across the room, especially when the majority of diners were couples. We could not hold a conversation once the second group arrived and began their chest thumping, team building dinner. Clearly, this could be remedied by the management. Maybe just maybe that back room would be perfect for groups? Maybe the front dining room best utilized for intimate tables of no more more than 6 or a community table assembled of small parties? Whatever the solution, there are easy ones at hand. The food was delicious, the Staff were great about checking in on drinks and how we enjoyed the food. Really aside from dimmed lighting and sound mitigation, the bumps were small.More

Probably not, but maybe make one to avoid disappointment. It isn't a huge place.
