We were in Prague for new year and we were going to eat here on New Year's eve but changed out plans. On New Year's day we went out for the day and decided to stay out and watch the fireworks in the early evening. There were a massive amount of people watching and so we decided that we would... After a week of heavy meat eating and fine dining a pizza sounded good for lunch. Pepe Nero is near the Intercontinental, and it looked like a very pleasant spot to have lunch. The decor does not scream "Italian"....almost Scandinavian...nothing cutsey at all. We were seated promptly, greeted by our server, and also by the owner. We ordered a large... More

We went to the restaurant on New years day at lunch time. It was quite busy and the staff had seemed a bit flustered. We ordered bruschetta & soup for starters and they were delicious. But I believe our main order never got passed on to the chef and we waited an hour and half before our food arrived and... More

This is a very nice Italian restaurant across the square from the intercontinental hotel. A good quality menu with all the usual Italian classics, the pizzas are enormous. I had penne pasta which was cooked to perfection this is great for lunch or dinner. The wine list is a bit limited but sufficient,

The food was very tasty and of excellent quality. The thing I will remember the most though was the tolilet visit and especially the washing of the hands. It was a kind of shower where you have the possibility to touch the hands of the person who was in the women toilet.

The menu comes with a great choice of meals (pasta, pizza, meat, risotto). The food tastes good. What impressed me the most was the friendly waitress who stayed calm during stress, unhappy customers and even made a show for children. Furthermore the location can't be complained and it's far enough to find not only tourists but also locals.

And here I was wanting to try out Italian pizza. Probably should have tried it in Italy! To say that Dominos gives them a run for their money is an understatement! Absolutely awful pizza--never have I had runny pizza in my life before! Customer service to die for--yes, you got that right--to die for. It was so awful that I... More

This place looks nice, but food is not worth of going in. Bread was hard. Service was just enough OK. Not expensive, but yet not worth of money you pay. Better place is Baterka near of this restaurant.

This Italian restaurant drew us in as it looked quite busy ,very clean and modern. The chef was even behind the counter looking the part as he was flipping the pizza dough about....don't be fooled! The waitresses looked miserable and the food was not worth it. I really craved a lasagna but this is the only Italian restaurant that I... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
