Although Chillilili was recommended to me and is well rated on TA i went there today and was surprised but in bad way. Place was totally empty, waitress looked bored all the time, she was surprised seeing customers and not friendly at all. Wanted to get coffee and cake but no cakes available. Agreed with coffee and just espresso was... More

We ate at Chillili twice, both times enjoying a simple meal of soup, salad, and hospitality. I echo the "cute cafe". There isn't much for seating, but the service was personable and the dishes simple and fresh. The Goulash soup was my wife's favorite experience in Prague. I enjoyed the simple mushroom soup, and and the chicken and potato crock.... More

We were so happy that we found this place after avoiding all the tourist places with the same food and ridiculous prices (around the old quarter)... Here, you get really good value for money and the food was freshly made. I think the café has been renovated recently; it's really cute and stylish!

We came here looking for something light to eat quite late in the evening. The place was empty and looked like they might not be serving food anymore but the couple running the place were still nice enough to make me and my girlfriend a meal. She plumped for the Goulash and was raving about it. My chicken tagliatelle was... More

We popped in for a quick coffee, however we were asked if we would like to go downstairs as upstairs was full. We were glad we did - it was a lovely clean area. I discussed the wine with the waiter and noticed the Czech wine was as expensive as the usual Italian and French wines - he pointed out... More

A very friendly environment in a small family restaurant and café in the historical centre of Prague with immensely nice and helpful staff. They have very original and refreshing menu choices, home made desserts and simply amazing TWG brand tea and hot chocolate selection! Altogether I find it horribly difficult to write anything but words of praise for this place.... More

We were pleasantly surprised to find this beautiful small restaurant tucked away in the corner of Liliova Street-we've had best Borst ever! So were the other dishes on the menu, including hot red wine with ginger and lemon-highly recommend to pay them a visit-you won't be disapointed and your belly with 'thank you' too!

Ducked in here to escape the rain, and were pleasantly surprised. Soup in bread bowl was yummy and the appetizer Hermelin? Cheese with sautéed onion, olive oil and garlic tasted great with traditional Czech bread. The dark Master beer accompanied by a shot of befverovka? was fabulous.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
