We came upon this lovely restaurant by chance and we loved it! The food & service were superb. A friendly atmosphere with a cozy feeling. Don't miss it if you are in Prague!!

We were early birds and were the only ones in the restaurant but we still felt comfortable and relaxed. Very sweet decorations and background music. We ordered the mushroom soup, which was yummy. We also ordered the goulash which was a large portion.

The coziness of this restaurant and the perfect background music result in a wonderful atmosphere. The service and food were outstanding and the entire experience was delightful. My only regret is that we didn't return the next evening!

Had a pleasant experience at this restaurant. Good food, large portions, amazing decorations and lovely atmosphere. Not so expensive for what it offers. I highly recommend this place, if you are near the castle or want a special meal.

TA reviews are spot on from this evenings experience anyway. We were lucky to hit a Sunday evening with few guests and received stellar service. Ambiance is great, good for a romantic evening. Crispy Duck met expectations as per previous reviews. Lamb shank special on...More

We had a late lunch here. the waiter was unfriendly and kept asking to move our kid's trolley out. Ordered water never arrived. Gnocchi were fine while soups quite average just like the fried cheese. Yet another overrated touristy place.

Service par excellent! Food was delectable. Four of us felt like we were treated royally and each of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Best of all we could actually have a conversation! The entrée selection was a bit limited but that is because each selection...More

Nice atmosphere inside, located just below the Castle. Good food quality at the right price, beer excellent. We had a good roasted duck and a good soup. It deserves a visit.

Despite being in a major tourist area near the castle the restaurant has a certain amount of charm Run by the owner who takes pride in his work. Portions are large and the classic roast duck and red cabbage excellent Glad I went

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if

from the west to the north, provide spectacular views
of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.

You will find our restaurant in the very heart of Prague, in the place which inspired the famous romantic poet R.M. Rilke. The restaurant provides a calm oasis of gastronomical experience, worth discovering, in the busy, pulsing centre of the town. We build upon the very best of Czech gastronomical tradition. Our cuisine isn't based on extravagancies, but on a straight approach to Czech meals, the freshest local ingredients and humility to the culinary profession. The best proof is the satisfaction of our customers.
