We were originally going to the bake shop but thankfully they were very busy so we stumbled on this place and so pleased that we did. From the outside it doesn't look very inviting but once you get in it's warm and cosy and a waitress said we could take our choice of seating. We asked the English speaking waitress... More

Delicious homemade breakfast in a lovely little café. Friendly staff who spoke English. We had the baked eggs and omelette and both were delicious. Highly recommended.

My friend and I stumbled across Home Kitchen after being recommended the area for a good breakfast spot. We arrived around midday and were still given the option of eating from the breakfast menu, although lunch was available if we had wanted it. We went a couple of times, once on a Saturday and again on the Monday before heading... More

I wanted a great place to have breakfast and I gave home kitchen a shot. We'll worth it! Though small, this was one of the best experiences so far in Prague. The pictures speak for themselves. The staff is great and I'd surely come back anytime.

We've had our best breakfast in Prague here. The coffee was good, and their homemade bread was amazing. Definitely one of the better cafés around at a very reasonable price. I'll definitely be back again.

Svickova, Beef goulash, dumplings, pivo, is that it? If you really want to know how the Czech cook, go to Home kitchen. Authentic and true to traditional recipes and innovative at the same time.

I ordered baked salmon with saffron sauce and a soup. Both dishes were very good. Prices are ok, atmosphere is welcoming and staff was very kind :) I really like interior design and way dishes were served.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
