This restaurant is located in the Center, good place to be visited when you make the City tour (by walk). When you start the Triangel Wenceslas Square - Old Town Sguare - Republic Square you can make the final refresh break here. In the menu you can find typical Czech national food, some specialities, you are obliged to try some... More

Came for lunch. Situated in basement of Municipal Hall. Beautiful building. Quite busy but only tourists. Food is nothing fancy. Big portions and not expensive. The waiter who served us was grumpy and not helpful as if he was doing us a favour. Won't come back as better restaurants nearby.

Hidden in the basement of the Municipal building in Prague is this large restaurant that serves local food. Pictures of each dish makes it easy to see what you want to order. Several languages are available and the waiters are very helpful. The beef neck soup with noodles and vegetables was excellent. A light start with a flavorful clear beef... More

Plzenska is able to serve a basic three course dinner to large groups really quick. We were a group of 50 people; in and out in an hour and a half. Don't expect haute cuisine or very warm and friendly service. It is what it is, nothing more nothing less. Good value for money on a very central location.

We had dined at this restaurant on a previous visit to Prague & as it's situated right in the city centre it was very easy to find again. The food is excellent, traditional & fresh. The servings are large so the men are happy! It was very busy which is not surprising. The prices are reasonable & the staff are... More

The place is really beautiful, old Czeck beer hall with wonderful decor in an amazing palace. We chose it for our last dinner because it was early and the place is open all day (we had a flight to catch). Food and beer were good, hearty traditional food, big portions. Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
