Being in the touristy old town this place could easily have been over priced and under delivered, but nevertheless we decided to give it a go as the venue looked very cosy. I tried the goulash soup to start and immediately knew that we'd made the right choice. There was so much flavour! I then had duck for main, which... More

Found ourselves being escorted down to the cellar which was not what we expected. Lovely atmosphere with live music and brilliant surroundings. Waitor was lovely and beer very good. Good value.

More expensive than the service they provide. Don't try downstairs, maybe a good place for first dates, but be assured that you will pay more than the quality you'll receive.

My husband and I visited just for drinks one afternoon.... The decor was amazing and the staff friendly. They offered lovely cocktails which were very slightly on the pricey side but we're worth it. It was our 1st visit to Prague and decided to treat yourselves. Although we didn't eat we definitely would of tried the restaurant if we'd had... More

You would think that being on old town Square that the food would be expensive. You'd be wrong. Service is fantastic the food is amazing. Blankets and heaters on to keep you warm. Quick service and polite staff. Amazing building inside and out.

The restaurant is in the old square. An area the local guides tell you to avoid. As the food quality is sub standard and you will get ripped off. Well in this instance it was neither. The main part of the restaurant is downstairs set in a cellar. It is both atmospheric and romantic There is a saxophonist playing and... More

Although initially a little leery of one of those touristy places in the middle of the touristy areas, we ended up sitting outside in the freezing cold enjoying the night-time view of the square with roast pork, sausages and my beloved litre of dark beer. All was good with the world. The food and the view of the square were... More

My husband and I visited on a Saturday evening and it wasn't full but busy. Live music was good. Lovely deco and a nice feel. Staff really good. We both had steak which was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It doesn't look much from outside but is beautiful inside.

The location is great and the venue is beautiful, and the food was adequate, but I feel like I won't remember this place long after the visit.

The restaurant is hidden at the end of a corridor, in a cellar. Most amazing pork chops!!! Also the schnitzel and the chicken were nice. The best waiter in Prague! Very nice atmosphere, a cellar but very open in a sense, not distressing in anyway for my friend who usually does not like cellar spaces. Go and eat there!!!

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
