This is a really great and entertaining way of having a great dinner in Prague. The atmosphere is captivating and so is the staff. You really feel like you went back to the stone age and on top of it all, the food is really good. The price is reasonable taking the experiance will recommend this for families (Maybe not... More

"Pravěk" means "prehistory" in english. And the design of this restaurant is trying to be kinda prehistoric, in a good sense, it´s very original. But food is modern and very good. Nice overall atmosphere, although there is a little bit dark (not a good place to read a book).

Bored and no customer oriented staff. They had problem take reservation table for two. Meal was too oily and potatos looks like 2days old. Nothing special in this restaurat. In Prage are more nicer and customer oriented restaurants.

I've visited the restaurant in December. we we're two couples. the restaurant is well designed and the fact that it's in a basement is giving the place another dimension of coolness. the adventure begins at the moment you step in the first floor. I must admit that it was not so easy to find the restaurant and we came especially.... More

Nice environment the waiter did a fairly good job to serve our meal and he was quite friendly. The meat was perfect, pretty good portions and cooked by a professional as it seems!

Some years ago were several original restaurants of this chain in Prague. Their premises imitated prehistoric caves - human dvelling with imitation of some artefacts. Also offered meals and drinks have had “prehistoric” names. All this was very attractive for guests. At present remained the only one of them. We were interested, if this restaurant continues tradition. We visited it... More

Pravek have gone for a prehistoric theme to their restaurant, complete with themed (mostly meat) dishes. The decor is good fun, the service excellent the food was great too and we would certainly go again.

Dined here 14/8/15.interesting interior with excellent choice/price/menu.Portions huge, frequented by a lot of locals most of whom seemed to take home half their meal in containers provided by the restaurant.Could do with aircon at this time of year.

The decor is pretty cool, but it really doesn't make up for the atrocity that was served to my partner and I. When we first arrived at the restaurant it had a distinct smell of cigarettes that made me feel slightly nauseous, but I convinced myself I'd get used to it. Neither of us are meat eaters and so we... More

This restaurant was, in my opinion, simply awful. I shudder every time I think about it. The decor is admittedly pretty cool, but does not in any way compensate for what we were served. The restaurant claims to have a vegetarian menu and claims to have a wide variety of such, all lies! There was ONE thing we could order... More
