Visited Klub Lavka recently and had two drinks there. We were sitting in the beer garden which had a great view at the Charles bridge. Great view but very expensive drinks. Apple cider 70kc and 0.5 Staropramen 75kc not included tips. Other pubs or restaurants had 0.5 Plzen for 50kc. Check the prices before you sit down.

Food and drinks were okay. View and location is excellent.
BUT! Be careful in the end, when it comes to the payment.
The waiter brought the bill about 1.200 CZK. He automatically tipped into the credit machine an amount of 1.700 CZK. When we asked he said, it is mandatory for his work. We were discussing and wanted to pay cash. Anyway, he wanted 1.700 CZK. Which is 20 Euro tip!!! We were confused and paid. When he left he took the bill with him and disappeared quickly,so we could not even check, what happened. We really got ripped off!! Not the best memory of Prague.
So, if a young waiter with blond coloured hair is serving you, be careful.

The food is good, but the staff are rude.
They made my order wrong, and I pointed out the problem (that is, that they brought me the wrong dish), by asked to solve the problem they ignored me without even apologising for the mistake.

Absolutely awful!
We opted to go for the 40 euro ticket instead of paying an extra 100 euros for food on the evening. That's the only positive we took away from the place as we were just so glad we didn't waste any more money!
We were promised 2 dance floors and special DJs, alongside an all night BBQ and a glass of champagne to toast at midnight. There was one tiny dance floor crammed into the dining room, the DJ just played a cheese Spotify playlist, there was no all night BBQ in sight and it was hard enough getting service for a drink throughout the entire evening - let alone getting a glass of champagne at midnight!
They were understaffed so those who were working did not have time to offer a good service or offer what we paid for.
The location and potential for this venue was very good, we were just extremely disappointed (alongside many other guests).
The vibe was awful and this has set the bar for being the worst new years eve event I have ever been to.

The only reason to go to Klub Lavka, is that it there.
The location is great. Of course you would go and sit down. The sun is shining, you've had a great day in Prague, you're thirsty. . .
better go and get some Water for yourself, while the waiters ignore you.
It is expensive, but then, you tell yourself, it's in a great spot.
(Be aware, you will be surrounded by smokers)
We finaly got our order, which was described on the menu as Nachos. Turns out, it's a bowl of cheap corn chips, with 2 small dipping bowls of tomatoe sauce, and mustard.
Choice of 2 beers.
Go somewhere else.

Absolutely worst experience in our many trips to Europe! The waiter was so extremely rude. The waiter was unhelpful in getting a table. When we finally sat down, he took more than 10mins to just give us the menu. In fact we were not even given the pizza menu. Our drinks order took inordinately long. We thought it must be because of the crowds and waited patiently while enjoying the ambience. However, ultimately we realised that the treatment meeted out to us was not because of any time/crowd constraint but (sadly and unbelievably) because of age old racism. We ordered food and after more than an hour later (after asking twice about it), we were informed that one dish has already finished and the other one was never informed to the kitchen. So basically we didn't get any lunch. We asked for the bill and even that was brought to us after catering to at least 5-6 tables, with absolutely no apology for letting us go without lunch after we already waited for so long. In the meantime we noticed that other tables with white patrons were attended to promptly and orders were delivered far quicker. All this time, the waiter was unbelievably rude, and made offhand comments which reflected badly on the hospitality industry of Prague. That's when we realised that the problem was the waiter's attitude towards our skin colour and nothing else.

Very bad service, waited for more than 1 hour a pizza for our 5 years kid, while our meals were brought in around 30 minutes, which we cancelled in the end as it would have taken another 15-20 minutes to get it. The waiter was rude and raised his tone to me when I asked for 3 times about how long it will take to receive it. Avoid this place!

We sat there 1 hour with Some drinks. We are getting told that we Will get the menu in 30 minutes because it is busy. After the 30 minutes of waiting we are getting told that no dish is posible to Make anymore. We went to the manager and he told an other story. He told us that the kitchen was close already. We had to Pay For the whole Bill of drinks we had. We didn’t get any dinner and we had to leave the restaurant because the manager was Very angry. He made of his problem our problem. I don’t recommend this place at all

I have seen restaurants with bad service but this one tops them all by a kilometre.
Catastrophic it’s the only word that comes in mind.
We have chosen it for its wonderful location but that’s all that it’s positive.
The WC are filthy, the plates broken, the knives broken and rusted and the waiters impolite and an absolutely joke. When I saw the young waiter the broken plate he asked me if I broke it.
Then, as I got irritated by his question he told me it’s not his fault. Exactly the same answer when he brought the wrong drinks, not only to us but literally to everyone. The half a litre glass of beer was just half filled with beer, the rest being just foam.
A nightmare.

I spent new year in this nice place but the staff was disgusting! I went to the bar and I ordered drinks , they had no money to give me the rest, the guy who served me was bald, he started screaming saying that next time I would have to go to another bar or I could go out, he told me to shut up and imitated me with stupid voices.... all this just because I asked for the rest....
I don't understand how this people can work without problems, I can assure that I was very kind when I spoke to him!

If I had not ordered pizza I would have given it 4-5 stars. Fantastic views of the Vltava (Moldau) river and Charles Bridge.
The first time the charcuterie plate was fantastic with really good cheeses, sausage slices, and bread. The German beer from tap was superb.
Second time, they were only serving pizza. The crust was excellent but the bland sauce and toppings reminded me of frozen pizza from a supermarket. They should stick to there best dishes even during busy times. The Czech beer from tap had a soapy flavor… not sure if it was the beer or the glass. At least the view was amazing.
Service both times was excellent. Pleasant and attentive young waiters who were working very hard and with a smile.
I would absolutely come back but get the charcuterie or try a Czech dish if it is not “pizza only” time

I had a wonderful experience at Klub Lavka. Their vegan salad was excellent, and the service was efficient and attentive even though all the waiters were extremely busy. The highlight was definitely the fantastic view of the river that added to the ambiance. I also appreciated the diverse and incredibly friendly staff. A great place for both food and atmosphere! Staff was very hard working.

During our Prague visit, we've stopped by Klub Lavka for lunch since they had a large outdoor seating area. View towards the famous Charles Bridge. Food was average, but staff are very friendly even though they were busy with all the outdoor seating guests. Stop by the restaurant for drinks and the lovely view of the river and Charles Bridge!

Terrible Service! The waiter (maybe Giovanni) were vers agressive and unpleasant.
We’were waiting 45 minutes and we didn’t get any drink.
The view is super but the restaurant isn’t…
In my opinion the number of the waiters are not enough!

We had dinner there last night. This place has great location and wonderful views but the food and the service is awful. We couldn’t believe that they charged us two euros for ketchup for my daughter’s fries. When they know you are a tourist, you get the felling that your presence and business is not appreciated and you are treated accordingly.
I would never go back to this place! Just awful!
