Last visited here in October 2015 and our first stop here on return. Did not disappoint. The food and service was excellent. My wife is not a steak eater but the 200g tenderloin was the best she has ever had. I had the 500g entrecôte...More

This is a place where I will return. Everything starts with entering a cozy place. You get seated and the services are great. I can recommend the mix of steaks. Nicely done!

Pretty much just a beef place, check the menu. Beef bourguignon was very good but salty which seems common in the region. Potato gratin was fantastic, limited beer choice but all good, rustic location which we liked, $25 a head all in seemed fair

When we read about Bila Krava we decided we had to have Charolais beef. We took the long walk up Wenceslas Square because we wanted to really be hungry. We’re so glad we did. We had the steak sampler, one meat better than the other....More

This was a fantastic restaurant, the sauces, and all of the steaks were perfect. I would say this place makes some of the best cuts of meat in Europe. All of the sauces were DELICIOUS. I couldn't believe how well made they were, I'm very...More

Small cosy restaurant. Food great especially the steaks. Tasty and cooked to perfection. Good selection of wines at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and very attentive. Very busy and would recommend reserving a table.

Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this
neighbourhood standing on former vineyards developed
very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century.
Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live,
and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing
parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars,
cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy
shops, it is a home for people from all around the

It's not very practical to ask here, simply call them, or go to their website, there's online reservation form. Enjoy it, I recommend anything on the menu ;-)

Description
In the restaurant you can enjoy friendly and calm atmosphere of French countryside even if you are in the centre of Prague. The restaurant is located close to upper corner of Wenceslas Square (150 m from Museum metro station and 300 m from I.P. Pavlova metro station). On the menu you can find steaks and other dishes from aged Charolaise beef produced by Czech farmers, lamb from our farm, fruit brandy produced in our own distillery and various French specialities. The “secret” tip is a dessert prepared by liquid nitrogen (-196C°) right next to your table.

Name of the restaurant “White cow” refers to the world´s best breed originating from the French town called Charolais. Founding of the restaurant almost twenty years ago is closely connected with a breeding company, which imported Charolaise cows from France and it breaded here in the Czech Republic. We use beef from young Charolaise bulls raised on meadows of Moravian Highlands. On blackboard nearby of entrance each customer can find bull´s identification number, age and exact length of meat aging. On the top of that in the restaurant you can taste lamb from our farm, fruit brandy produced in our own distillery and many more. We like to say that in our restaurant you really „Know, what you eat“ and „Know what you drink.
