We spent a few days in Prague and the Cafe Ebel was about 50 yards away from our flat. We went there for breakfast each day, and in fact we went there to have a coffee and some cake in the afternoons as well. They do a super toasted bagel with cream cheese, and the cakes were fab. The coffees... More

The café has a cozy and quiet atmosphere despite being located in the centre of Prague. Our hot drinks were great but it took very long until we received what we ordered. We were not the only guests having this problem and we saw some others leaving before they were served as they did not want wait any longer.

Visiting Prag with two small kids was tiring but Cafe Ebel was so great to host us even for longer times. Price-quality perspective one of the best places I have seen

It is cafe which has freshly roasted coffe, choice of different kind of coffe and also blends. The owner is the right specialist. The place is nice but not good for big groups.

We popped in for coffee yesterday and had hot and strong flat whites...just the way we like them. Went back for breakfast this morning, I had the vegetarian (2 slices rye bread, butter, jam, bocconcini, tomato, rocket, a croissant, juice and a flat white). My husband had the classic breakfast - which was the same except for ham and swiss... More

They serve probably the best coffee I've tried in Prague. And desserts are sooo delicious! Great cafe!

Very cozy place. A bit 'old' but very charming and inviting. They brew and roast their own coffee and serve breakfast, lunch and snacks from a tiny bistro menu. They also have a decent selection of cakes on display and a small selection of their own truffles. They serve their coffee with regular or soy milk, which is great. We... More

Good coffee, delicious cakes, great atmosphere, off the main tourist routes. We returned a number of times. Recommended.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
