About
Mlejnice restaurant in Kožná street was opened in the immediate vicinity of the Old Town Square in 1999 and since then thanks to its stylish and cozy interior, lovely atmosphere, and renowned cuisine together with a wide offer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks it belongs among the most sought-after restaurants in this area. We draft Pilsen, unpasteurized Gambrinus, and dark Kozel. In a wine list, you can find mostly wines from the region of Moravia.

Service cadre bouffe Very nice restaurant in a small street. A bit loud because of eating people and big wooden chairs. The food is good and everything on the menu is typical. We ate pork tenderloin stuffed with garlic and cheese sauce and beef with...poi sauce. We tasted the typical dumplings. They don’t look good, but they definitely taste good! The local red wine on the menu is also very nice (and not super acid like in other places). One of the best Czech kitchen we had during our trip in a nice atmosphere and in the old city. Beware and book a table in advance, otherwise you’ll have to wait outside with everyone else. Sometimes you wait 15min, but you can also be waiting for 1h… be prepared.More

Once we arrived, we were invisible to the waiter. No eyes contact or hello from his part. The waiter was dead tired, we thought he was gonna sleep on the bar, have a look at theses epics pictures

A friend found this restaurant for us, and it was a highlight of our stay in Old Town. We had the gnocchi with sheep cream sauce both nights, the 400g beef roast (think steak) with green beans, cabbage salad (twice), the pancake with plum sauce...dessert, mulled wine, and more. Everything was great. The prices are less than other nearby places, and we can't imagine that the food is any better. Service was slow the first night, but the atmosphere is nice in this small restaurant. Come early or make a reservation.More

Tucked away down a quiet little alley, this was a great find. The food was authentic and atmosphere pleasant. I had a delicious goulash served in a bread roll (very filling). The meat was tender and full of flavour. My husband had a spicy beef...dish; he, too, thoroughly enjoyed it. If we were here longer, we’d return.More

Very nice traditional food! We like it! But one negative was the fact that couldn't use credit card only cash!

I rarely write reviews (even when I do it’s usually for complaints) but this food is absolutely incredible. The goulash is amazing and the iced tea alone I will come back for. So delicious. I recommend

I really don't think you will need a reservation. There are 2 locations of this restaurant and they are close together so you won't have a problem with availability!

They don’t accept AMEX. I went today and I’m confirmed that they can’t use AMEX.
