Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very much a traditional Czech restaurant.....good service but food arriving before the wine was not good....appeared to be only 1 sommelier.....schnitzel was excellent....perhaps resting on their laurels?.....

Dreadful uninterested service. Had to ask for everything - could we get a drink, could we order, couldn’t even pay! Overpriced and a bit like a Betty’s TeaRoom. Don’t bother - lots of much better places to go

Came for Green Tea and Savoy Torte, both were excellent and welcome after coming in from dreadful weather. The ambiance was good, and the waiters excellent . I enjoyed everything about my visit and would come back if ever in Prague.

This was a really lovely experience . The food was extremely delicious and beautifully presented , the coffee outstanding, the service top notch and the surroundings just lovely . We had beautiful selections for brunch with plainly the freshest of ingredients, put together with flair.

This was a very disappointing experience. We had the Croissant filled with scrambled eggs and black truffles (US $14), the Eggs Royale croissant with salmon and caviar ($15), and the French breakfast ($23). The presentation was poor, the croissants soggy, and the truffle stale and...had no taste at all. The cappuccinos ($4) are served in tiny shot glasses with no design. The flesh squeezed juice also very small for the $6 they charge. They allow dogs in the dining room which didn't help our allergies. We won't be going back on our next trip.More

Thank you for the review, we are sorry you didn't enjoy our restaurant as much as we would have liked. It is always important to tell all these things on the spot. Cappucino is served in porcelain cups that are designed for us. We're sorry,...More

Went here for breakfast after having seen a montage on social media. This was our first mistake. Building is stunning but it is all about the aesthetics. Croissants and eggs were overcooked, food and coffees cold. Staff weren’t really interested. Much nicer, cheaper, less well...known places for breakfast if you wander around. Don’t waste your money unless you’re looking for an instagram/tik tok post.More

So wonderful. We came here as a group of 6 for a 90 min reservation. Finally we left this awesome place after more than 5 hours and 9 bottles of wine with pleasant minds and happiness. The personal was great and super friendly. But the...sommelier was the one entertaining us and keeping us there - to the point that we cancelled another reservation in Prague, and stayed here for dinner. This is surely a very high recommendation to visit in Prague!!!More

Awful service! We asked the waitress if they had a table for 2. We’re told rather rudely that they were fully booked. We asked if we could wait for a table. We were told we could wait but we had to wait outside. It was...freezing. The waitress was so rude. Would avoid.More

We loved this restaurant so much we went twice in 3 days for lunch. Friendly staff, lovely food and a great buzzy atmosphere with somewhat upmarket diners. Lots of furs and diamonds and good handbags - says much for the quality of the food and...restaurant. I had salmon tartare on the first lunch with a big green salad and the second lunch I had veal tartare with a big green salad. We chose a great gewürztraminer wine on both occasions and the sommelier was super helpful as were the waitresses. Couldn't be faulted.More

Had the Café Savoy luxurious hot chocolate accompanied by their Croque Monsieur and they both slapped. Best Hot Chocolate of my life, already thinking of my next one.

This cafe was recommended to us by staff in our hotel and it didn’t disappoint. The elegance of the service and menu was outstanding. Nice rose too. Totally recommend the potato salad. Beautiful venue.

We were shown in by a grumpy waiter, then promptly ignored for 15 minutes before we gave up and left. Terrible service, all the staff looked very snooty for what is a fairly standard looking cafe.

Like a Czech Betty's, great stuff and a nice treat can't understand poor reviews it's lovely. Feels retro, decadent, beautiful interiors, good quality food at ok price considering you're in a busy city.
