Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited Cafe Savoy with my partner and her family. We were definitely underdressed, but it didn't seem to matter. The staff provided excellent customer service, and the food was great. I had eggs Benedict for lunch along with a Pilsner and a Savoy cafe...au lait. I'm not sure how they do it, but the Benedict was the most filling and flavorful that I've ever had. The beer was particularly refreshing as well - I think they may chill their glasses longer or at colder temps than other restaurants we went to in Prague. While it is expensive for Prague standards, at the time of visiting the most expensive entree on the menu was $22. I would certainly visit again if I'm lucky enough to be back in Prague.More

Not only breakfast was poor but also service. I had to ask for a bread and cutlery; a waitress was not really involved. I felt like an uninvited guest. I ordered a “Savoy” breakfast, which I assumed from the name was their signature choice. All...dishes that landed on my table were truly disappointing, i.e. a barely warm omelette, a tiny store-bought (?), dry and stale waffle (not tasty at all!), a small glass of orange juice, a coffee and granola bowl with yoghurt. As I mentioned, I had to ask to get bread and cutlery. In conclusion, it was a dull, ordinary meal prepared without a passion and served without presentation. There is really nothing to recommend here.More

One of these places which emphasizes melodrama of the service and experience more so than the quality of the food or value for money. Nice to go and food was good, but I personally prefer more relaxed, less over the top settings with heartier food...offerings!More

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant with high expectations. As we arrived, it was going to rain, and they had no available tables inside at the moment. They told me that we could wait outside for 20 minutes and then they would have...a table for us inside. We waited for 40 minutes outside. Every time I went inside to check if they had a table for us, the waitress just ignored me. I tried to talk to anyone else, but everyone was just doing their things and not paying attention to the customers even though I saw a lot of available tables—overall a bad experience.More

Up out and about and on a beautiful sunny morning we were heading to the bridge along Vitezna when we dropped into Cafe Savoy ,a great cafe we always look forward to visiting on any trip to Prague we take . I love the look...of this cafe, high ceilings,an eye catching serving bar ,opulent decor and furnishings and lots of seating options ,it just a wonderful cafe. We were here on a Thursday morning ,we grabbed a table were one of the bar team took our order of coffee and cake's ,service was quick, coffee was served steaming hot,for our cakes we went for an almond cake ,we kicked back, chilled out and took in the great cafe we were in.. My coffee was really good, from the first sip till the last sup you can tell they use quality ingredients in their coffee and take great pride in the coffee they serve and the cakes that come with the coffee was amazing ,so tasty ,it was just so good being in such a lovely cafe enjoying quality coffee and cakes planning out the day ahead in this beautiful Bohemian city. We really enjoyed our coffee and cakes in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to Cafe Savoy we had a great experience . Cafe Savoy is easy to locate along Vitezna . Opening hours are; Monday to Friday,8am till 10.30pm. Saturday & Sunday,9am till 10.30pm. A great cafe, well worth checking out if you're in the area.More

The truffle burger is just amazing with fries. The service is amazing and they speak English ! I really loved how friendly the staff were - it made my experience so great as not many people are friendly to foreigners. The Truffle burger had actual...shavings of truffle and portion was just so huge. Highly recommended. Give it a try!More

Nothing like the Savoy in London . It’s a very poor cafe. Food is awful and waiter was really rude. There are so many more places in Prague that are so much better than this . Don’t waste your time or money

A very classy old and world-famous cafe to visit. It is very clean with nice atmosphere and everyone is in a certain place doing his job. Our coffees and deserts came quickly and were fresh and very delicious. Amazing experience

They are very accommodating - I wouldn’t see why not but they do get very busy so advise booking? It’s worth it though. Have a great time.
