We came here because of the good reviews, as we are staying at the Hotel U Šimla. We received a very friendly welcome.
Orders also work really well for us tourists, as there is a German menu and the man who took the orders also speaks German.
We had the soup of the day and a coleslaw to start with, all homemade and super super tasty.
A short time later our schnitzels arrived, one with chips and one with fried potatoes and homemade remoulade. We heard that the schnitzels were pounded beforehand. Again, everything was super tasty, just be careful! The portions are really huge. We didn't finish everything, you can also order half a portion with a discount, or have the leftover food packed up and take away.
The pancakes for dessert were also great.
If I had 100 stars, I would give them all.

Classical Czech restaurant (more like pub) in countryside style. Great service, very lovely people. Food from variety of typical Czech cuisine (snitzel, mix meat, filled meat, goulash etc.) excellent quality. The portion was even too much for hungry adult.
Waiting for a table is normal in this restaurant, but it is worth of it.

The place is a small pension, the interior is old but and needs renovation, but you can get here nice meal from Czech classics for a reasonable price. Try white moravian wines ;) The cousine is rather domestic (like from grandma).

We had some issue during the meal - we found a caterpillar in salad. Not a big deal so we just told it nicely to the service. But the man who served us was so rude and unpleasant - just took the meal and blighty told us "What should I do with it?"
No excuses, no new meal.
So that was our first and the last visit.
