Food was tasteless and very unprofessional service as you will see what they commented on my review on Facebook. Their reply is disgraceful, unprofessional and insulting! I don't recommend this pub!!

In response to your ridiculous comments, first of all you were an hour late for your table to the point we were about to close. Secondly it was noted that you were a generally unpleasant character even as you arrived. This is an old country...More
We had a great afternoon here, a fabulous roast dinner and a glass of wine. As others have said, its like stepping back in time. The setting is perfect for a visit anytime of year.
Gorgeous little country pub, tucked away in a historic village. You will feel like you have stepped back in time. Thoroughly recommend on a cold winters day as they have lovely open fires.
Thank you. Hope to see you again soon.

Decided to have a Sunday roast here, having read the BBC Countryfile magazine voted it 2nd in a national pub survey. We were not disappointed. A very old building in a beautiful time warp village, which still seems like a "proper" pub (a rarity these...More
