Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We picked our lobsters out of the tank and our server brought them to the table for our approval prior to cooking them! They were perfectly cooked and delicious! Also had the tuna tartare and escargot which were equally delicious! We would highly recommend this...out of the way restaurant while visiting St Barts!More

good quality, reasonable prices and great service. Went in most of the restaurants on the island in this was by far the best.

Santa Fe is unobtrusively situated atop a hill in a residential section of the Lurin neighborhood near the road to Gouveneur Beach. Our experience was stellar from the get go. The valet workers were friendly and attentive and offered some great suggestions on the menu...and seating options. The staff is very friendly and informative. The food is absolutely fantastic with a nice variety of French/Caribbean cuisine. Preparation and quality was as good if not better than any other restaurant on Saint Bath (and that is not small feat). We visited twice during our recent trip and will make it our first reservation when we return. It is highly recommended!More

If you are a fan of lobster , this is a MUST! My husband and I dined during lunch twice this past trip because the lobster is the best (in the world in our opinion). We return every year to sit along the “railing” to...bask in the view. Aside from the grilled lobster, we also adore the ; Caesar salad, fish sandwich and their fries are TO DIE FOR!More

The food at Santa Fe is excellent and the view during the day is also worth a visit. Every dish was well prepared and tasted great. The menu moves from classic French fare to the more creative.

This restaurant sits atop a mountain about a 2 minute drive from Gustavia with easy access and parking. From the moment we arrived we knew it would be awesome, and we were correct. The food, the drinks and especially the hospitality were awesome. Thanks to...the team and we loved the Caribbean after dinner drink 😀More

On a recent visit to St. Barths our friend who has been going there for years recommended Sante Fe. It was a 10 minute ride up the hill from our hotel the Eden Rock. Plenty of parking outside the restaurant. We were greeted by David...the owner, who was so lovely. We ate escargots and Lobster. The food was divine! Prices were reasonable. Our waiter was so attentive and provided great service. Make sure you make Sante Fe one of your restaurants while visiting St. Barths!More

Situated high up with a lovely view. Great, casual spot. Perfect for lunch. Escargot were scrumptious, lots of garlic butter. Ocean Hot Pot was divine. Lobster was grilled perfectly. Sweet, tender meat served with drawn butter. Loved the food, and the setting, would return.

All around best - View, Food, Service, and Value. These people are just plain nice and have been doing it this way for a long time. The service, presentation, and flavor was excellent! It was so good that we ate here for lunch and dinner during our 8 day stay on the island. We dined here 2 years ago also, and it was every bit as good the second & third...times. The view is pleasant as well. We had the chilled lobster & spring rolls (we skipped this the second time), Cesar salad is typical, but the lobster dinner was delicious! It is the same menu for lunch and dinner. When we were there the first time 2 years ago, lobster thermidor was on the menu (we could not try it due to the fishermen not bringing in lobster due to a storm), but that was not on there this time. We will be back for another delicious experience next year on our return trip!More

If you need a break from the fancy beach club lunch scene in St Barth, Santa Fe is the perfect alternative. Up in Lurin with amazing views of the sea below. Low key, no pretension. But, you can definitely tell it still has an upscale...following. A real insider’s place. A chef from a well known restaurant in NYC recommended it to us, and we are so glad he did. It was terrific. Just an awesome lunch, with service to match. We loved the easy going, relaxed vibe. The Wahoo ceviche was fantastic. So was the grilled Mahi Mahi with vanilla infused sweet potato. The presentation of each dish is gourmet all the way. Just beautiful. Santa Fe is a gem. Don’t walk there- run. It’s that good. We will be back!More

David and his staff are awesome! They treat everyone like family and it feels like coming home (except the food is better here). The view is great at lunch and the food is consistently excellent all the time. The octopus and suckling pig dishes are...standouts. It’s really one of the best spots in St Barts - don’t miss it.More

Great restaurant all around! We just discovered it and will definitely make it a regular stop on our trips. The owner and his staff were fantastic and all of the food was so fresh. The menu and quality of food reminded us of Cabane d'isle...at Cheval Blanc before it went significantly down hill in the last two years. One of the best places for fish on the island.More
