The deck along the small bay and the proximity to Furuviksparken alone make Furuviks Brygga worth visiting. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. And what the service lacks in professionality and speed is replaced by kindness and motivation. I shall add that this is a general issue during the summer in Sweden when a lot of extra personnel... We had an excellent lunch eating from both the buffet and a la carte menu as well as a vegetarian option. It was all we could have wished for. The buffet had several types of home made herrings and salmon. Pates and cured meats. Followed by fillet of beef and pork and a large selection of desserts and cheese. There... More

Restaurant was close by for us who were staying at the camping ground. We were seated by a full-height sea-facing window with a great view on a sunny Spring evening. Our food comprising of a starter of smoked salmon, main of pan fried flounder and dessert of white chocolate panacotta were average. The flounder was fresh but overcooked and smelled... More

Went here with my colleagus for traditional Swedish Chirstmas Smorgasbord. When we arrived it was already dark so we missed the bespoken wonderful setting. Anyway the selection of herrings and fishdishes was really good and deserves to mention. The staff friendly and efficent. It had everything you could ask for but apart from the fishdishes nothing stood out as exceptional.... More

We sat down by the water during sunset and enjoyed the lovely seaview. But the food served was a disappointment. Steak and fish was no good at all. The only happy one was the 8-year old, since they had a kid's buffé with free amounts of pancakes.

This part of Sweden really lacks fine dining restaurants and this is probably as close as you get to it. It might not be the greatest restaurant but it is still good, especially if you like fish. We went there for lunch and I was at first somewhat annoyed that you have to use the amusement park next doors parking... More

We had around 50 in our group, and our meal was handled very well. Food and service was excellent. Location is fantastic, great view over the Baltic from our tables. Can't comment on value as I wasn't picking up the bill...

The view from the restaurant over the oecan is breath taking. The food is excellent. The service is fast and friendly. They mainly serve fish and sea food - which is perfect for me since I absolutely LOVE it. Go there! Next to the restaurant there is a zoo and amusementpark.

during the weekends leading up to Christmas Furuvik and Furuviks Brygga team up to give guests a great experience. Furuvik with the rides and Christmas feeling and Furuviks Brygga with the fantastic smorgasbord with a Christmas theme on display.

We had been to Axmar Brygga (which has the same exact menu etc) a couple of times before we went to Furuviks Brygga, and we had always been very pleased with the food and service on Axmar Brygga. Unfortunately, the standard on Furuviks Brygga was far from the one on Axmar. We had to wait way too long between the... More
