My friends wanted to have some tapas for the lunch and we found this restaurant. My friends have ordered five different tapas each and I've ordered the Castellano soup and the lamb with honey tapas. The Castellano soup was the star. It was perfectly cooked, the broth was one of the best I've tryed in my entire life. The amount of... More

La Taberna, in Ronda is a real Andalucian Taberna with excellent food and service! We eat best tapas ever with local wines and beer. Highly recommended!

There is a good vibe as locals come here. Most of them order the little sandwiches. Everything we had was good quality.

Had to check this restaurant out since we like dining where the locals eat. We were not disappointed. The service was superb and fast. I asked for the Gazpacho Andaluz, which was not in season, yet, the restaurant made it for me and was very good! If you go, get there when it opens because it fills up quick with... More

We loved La Taberna! We arrived right before the lunch rush was able to score a few tables. We had our baby and stroller and it was no problem. The place was packed within 10 minutes with Spanish locals. Everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend the local cheese plate and Jamón (of course), house made croquettes, patatas bravas.....it was... More

Not only did they happily show us which were the gf options, the main man put together a selection of gf tapa for us. They were all superb. We especially liked the lamb kebabs and the goats cheese with ham in caramelised onion. So much so, we had second helpings. The staff here go above and beyond - real professionals... More

Went for lunch/tapas. Had the dressed tomato, chicken skewers, stuffed mushrooms, cream gazpacho soup. All was yummy! Waitstaff very friendly and helpful and speaks good English which is good because embarrassingly we don't speak much Spanish. The location is on the plaza and there is a parking lot below. Short walk to the bridge and shopping.

Warm and friendly welcome. Waiter speaks a good English. Modern tapas. Delicious tempranillo. The oxtail was splendid. Would come back definitely. Thanx

If u have kids keep away from this place, not kid-friendly at all, i am sure u can find better tapas somewhere else. Also, the beer (corn juice) is crappy.
