We live in Melbourne and love good coffee. The flat whites tasted as though we were home! So happy after such average coffee throughout our trip in Ontario. There were some contenders in Hamilton that had been recommended to us but this is definitely the...More

My friends and I went there for lunch. We love their poached eggs with avocado on homemade sourdough toast. The red pickled onions on the top added colour. Breakfast food is available all day. We sat on the patio. Even though it was hot outdoors,...More

Well brewed coffees and teas in a cozy atmosphere for breakfast or lunch/afternoon tea. Beautifully prepared meals using the finest of ingredients resulting in a delicious repast. Yummy, made 'in house' baked goods to eat in or take out.Often very busy so be prepared to wait.

I was looking for a different roast when I walked into the detour on a sunny afternoon. Usually the girlfriend and I like to get our whole bean coffee from a small batch roasting company in Guelph Ontario, where we enjoy exotic, fresh Ethiopian, or...More

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our coffee! We take our beans very seriously and roast in small batches at our roastery in Burlington, ON - about 20mins away from our cafe in the heart of Dundas, ON. We roast lighter than...More

Read that this was a decent place to eat, in a friendly, bistro type setting. So we gave it a try and it was not a bad experience. It is cozy, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The food and coffee were good, but...More

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. As a company that believes in transparency, we make every effort possible to source beans with a "direct trade" policy. To us, direct trade means that we are actually going to the farms,...More

Thanks for the review! We totally agree that our coffee is worth waiting for. We typically don't start to get into full-swing service until about 10am and begin to slow down a bit after 2pm. If you are in a rush, I suggest visiting at...More
