Recently on Waiheke Island staying we went to the Oyster Inn at Little Oneroa. More expensive than other restaurants but you pay for what you get. We shared the whitebait starter (small but superb Note to self... do not share this!!), then I had calamari which I normally do not order a plate (entre size) as I do not like... More

In Oneroa Village, there are lots of eateries along the main road. Most of them are just average. The Oyster Inn was on the second storey overlooking the sea. We started with both kilpatrick & battered oysters locally from Te Matuku; for the mains, we had smoked fish pie with potato top & market fish with triple cooked chips. All... More

My beautiful bride loved the oysters. The wine was fantastic and our server was excellent as well. The cheese board was tasty but service was a bit slow. To be fair, the oysters (2 rounds) were superb and the service was super quick. I guess I can't complain too much about a cheese plate being slow at The Oyster Inn.... More

The best place to come in town, it's always packed, the cocktails are to die for and staff are always super friendly and up beat. The menu has something for everyone. The oyster Po boy sammy is my all time favourite but the fresh raw bar with nz clams and oysters is a must try, so fresh yum yum.

Not much more to say than we loved it. The whole family had fish and it was exquisite. Kids servings are generous and I recommend the salt and pepper squid to start.

My wife and I dont get out much (kids!) want to go somewhere nice when we have a night off. We were on Waiheke so decided to go to The Oyster inn. It did not disappoint. We started with local oysters served Au-naturel. My wife wasn't a fan but I can tell you they were beautiful, fat and fresh. We... More

A beautiful menu and great service, my fave is the smoked trevally whip, Te Matuku oysters and the pie that is sometimes on order -the Oyster Bay Pinot is a 2012 and very good

Caught the ferry Friday night. Picked up at the ferry and transfered to our room for the weekend. Our room was wonderful, with a balcony providing a view across the island to one of the many bays. The meals were fantastic, especially accommodating for Coeliacs, the service speedy and friendly, you could not ask for better. Thank you Perry, Noemie,... More

We had dinner at Oyster Inn. This is a casual restaurant and bar, with a relaxed feel. The food and wine selection was good. We liked it a lot.
