We had great food and great conversation with the waitress. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It's a popular spot with the locals, so you know its good. We can't wait to go back to try the dinner dishes. The prices are in line with other diners in the area. The place was recently remodeled so it all looks... More

It's almost like a restaurant shouldn't be in this country, quaint, setting. Yet the manner in which Country Brook presents itself fits this beautiful area perfectly. We've grown accustom to the great service in these family businesses in New England, but even with that standard, this place was special. Offering a wide variety of daily specials which are posted each... More

We visited this restaurant a couple of times prior to it being remodeled and while the food was good, the Mom and daughters service, was unique. Since it reopened, it looks great and very inviting and so we recently tried it once again. Food was good, however we were disappointed to find the same 'unique' service still in place. Maybe... We LOVED eating here! The staff was very friendly. The food was out of this world! FRESH cornbeef hash - made right there from fresh corned beef - not canned, FRESH hashbrowns (not frozen), TO DIE FOR muffins that are home made, and coffee that was fresh ground just before being brewed (my husband loved it). On Friday we had... More

We stopped here for breakfast while camping nearby. The wait was 15 min indoors on a Sunday morning but we could eat outside on their huge front porch right away. The food was incredible! Service was personable and quick. Prices reasonable. One of best breakfasts on our trip!

We have been to the Country Brook Cafe for breakfast and it was very good, plentiful and reasonably priced. Our waitress told us about the Friday fish fry. Fish and chips for two for a price of $13.99 and you can BYOB!!! Of course we tried it. The haddock was nicely battered and fried. The waffle cut fries were fantastic.... More

Many times on a Saturday morning in the middle of summer, Rt. 95 is a quagmire. If you're stuck in this traffic or if you're not, making a detour to the Country Brook Cafe would be a smart move and would win over the hearts and stomachs of your family. The Country Brook is where the locals go. The food... More
