Attractive old pub in nice location. We popped in on a Saturday lunchtime for beer and sandwiches whilst travelling on the Spa Valley railway. Both food and drinks were fine and no complaints whatsover . Were able to eat outside in comfort and enjoyable overall....More

We had a really good bar meal in this very old traditional pub. The tables that were set for lunch looked clean and inviting, nice to see tablecloths! Good service, warm and inviting, will definitely revisit soon.

I don't know if the arrangements at this pub have changed recently but the latest reviews all seem positive and only further back do you find the adverse comments. We are definitely on the positive side. The car park is not large with an overflow....More
