Tasty Moroccan traditional meal, be careful: 1 portion is enough for 3 men - we ate for fill and very lucky!

We spent two nights in Merzouga and we found this little family restaurant nearby: the owners are extremely friendly and the food is very good. They run also a souvenirs shop and they can organise for you any kind of desert trip (quad, camel, sandboarding,...)....We booked a camel trip on sand dunes for a very convenient price! Highly recommended!More

Ate here several times for breakfast while staying in Merzouga. There is plenty of good signage provided for you to locate the restaurant (greatly appreciated!). Every time we went, it seemed like they were not open as we were the only customers there, however we...got good service all times. The food was fresh, hot, a reasonable price and the kitchen/restaurant was a lot cleaner than most other places. Wish we would have tried this place for other meals! There is also a good sized gift shop next door (same owner I think) that has a large variety of good items to choose from.More

After a long day of buggy rides in the dessert, we were quite late to have dinner, but cafe Fatima was open and welcoming. We were served nicely, given time to choose, they let us know what they can provide as that time and did...their best for us! Much appreciated! Really good food and nice ornaments in the restaurant!More

The restaurant (inside) looks very nice too. They have a big patio with a swimming pool. It helps for a nice few :-) Two little shops at both sides of the entrance. (Women would like these shops. My wife -40- did very much so.) When...you stand in front off the restaurant, it doesn't look like much. (Like the hole village :-) But go in and also have a look on the rooftop terras! Now you are in Morocco :-) Incl. friendly -Englisch speaking- service and friendly prices too. And again: The food is good!More

i tested diferent restaurants around and this was the best: service, food, ambient. Reading some bads comments generally are from people that don’t leave their home when are travelling. i listened a group saying: “Aquí no tienen café espresso como en Madrid...” Obviously, if you...want your home here, don’t travel. In my case, Excellent, food is fresh, they served 20 min after but everything fresh and cooked in the moment. I am sure this is not fast food!More

There were enough cafes around to have a decent choice, but which to choose? For some reason we were drawn here and it was a fantastic choice! Our food was delicious and the service was outstanding. There was a young gentleman who took so much...time with us. We felt so welcome upon arrival. He took time to simply talk to us with genuine interest. He also translated the desert menu to us and never rushed us. Overall this was an amazing place and we are so happy we got to eat here and talk to the locals. The prices are also beyond reasonable which was another added plus!More
