Wanted a nice lunch at this well-located restaurant. Able to eat by the window and the food was really good. We had a delicious crab salad and a very nice monkfish. Good bowl of olives and bread too. Service ok, maybe a little leisurely (they weren't busy). However, with just three glasses of house wine, the bill came to €57... More

Thank you Ian I guess it is all relative and certainly all opinions count in TripAdvisor world. Glad you enjoyed the cuisine The wine is €5 per glass and the cover is charged for if requested by the client. I had a dinner last week at a hotel with one course and a bottle of house rose.. I found the... More

Had a couple of beers before the meal, staff were efficient and engaging. Ate their last year in Feb and it is still providing a high standard of food. Had the sardines followed by a sirloin steak - very good. Wife has goats cheese followed by lemon sole and smoked salmon - again very good. Will go back

This restaurant is on the beach but extremely difficult to find. The food is expensive, perhaps double normal Portuguese prices. The food is ok though. Nothing special just ok.

Hello extremely vague For someone who appears to be a fully paid up member of the TripAdvisor "community" your review does seem extremely vague and devoid of a many elements which would make up a review . Granted, if you haven't been to Julia's before, one would look online unless one didn't want to pay for roaming, in which case... More

Very pleasant Sunday lunchtime with lots of menu choice, good food and service. Stormy weather meant ate inside and the restaurant was full so good atmosphere. Have eaten here in summer midweek when live music which was really good. The location is excellent right on the beach. Well worth a visit

We went to Julia's yesterday for relaxed lunch and to have a base from where the kids could play on the beach. Service was great and the lunch menu has lots of great options - salads, fresh seafood, toasties, kids menu etc. Nice place to relax and spend the afternoon, especially during the off season when it's not too busy!... We return here every January for at least one lunch. The big prawns are delicious, served with African rice. The ambience is superb, with great views of the deserted beach. The beach bar is also very good. We popped in for Irish coffees one sunny afternoon, and sat watching the sun go down. A favourite.

Turned up on a Saturday night without a reservation to find the restaurant totally empty. We were the only four people in there. It was a shame because the food was delicious but there was no atmosphere whatsoever. I'm sure it's a totally different scenario in high season. Would like to visit again in the summer.

We had lunch here today and it was very good. I myself got the sardines with a side salad it it was lovely. My partner got the prawns with rice and it was very good. The sun was shining and it is right beside the sea. Such a lovely place for lunch and dinner

The main attraction of this famous beach restaurant is the beautiful locationon the praia de Garrao. The food is not bad, the tiger prawns are good but the prices are high. The staff is nice and helpful. For the amazing location this is a must, when you visit the central Algarve.
