We had Bella Maria and Gigolo - around 16 e each. In terms of volume I guess there was a lot of value for money, massive amount of toppings. I’d like the traditional Italian style more, with superb tomato sauce, good cheese and only moderate...amount of other components.More

Went here for a Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. Both the hamburger and pizza were very tasty and service was friendly. A good choice in Hämeenlinna.

Nice place thus looking a bit 80’s but service okay, could be better. A la carte menu short traditional Finnish. Ate snails, could be better but main course chicken was great. Free salad for appetizer

I expected the regular Finnish standard pizza- but this was special . Savoury at it's luscious best, just that right amount of gently burned cheesy bits on the edges, excellent fresh vegetables. I hope they keep the same chef or recipe.

Very cozy restaurant with a vast menu and very efficient and friendly service. We were quite a big group but we all got our food at the same time and everyone seemed to enjoy their meal, no matter whether it was pizza, pasta, burger, fish,...chicken or something else. Well done!More

We found the Popino restaurant quite easily in the centre of Hameenlinna, there had been many others to choose from and this one seemed quite good. The waitress met us at the door and led us to our table. It was around mid-day and so...about three quarters full. The waitress quickly took our orders and showed us the salad table. The salad table was very good, a good choice of different foods and sources. I had a pizza and my wife had the chicken korma, the pizza was ok, but my wife won this time around as hers looked very good, next time I will choose the chicken too. The service was very quick. I noticed that this restaurant is very popular with famililes, there was a number of children and I noticed that their plates looked very healthy with lots of vegtables and salad. I am left with the feeling that on the whole, the food was ok, but nothing really special, just a well run establishment.More

I went there for the evening snacks while my business trip. Friendly staff, Prices is reasonable; food is excellent with good quality. Recommend.

I looked at many different places to eat for dinner on TA and saw Popino and so I gave it a try, and outstanding is just the beginning they killed it. A 10 on service the place was busy and received a table was no...issues. Ordered a beer and a 10 on pizza too was so so good to every bite, will stop here again and will tell my friend to make this there stop too. Lunch pizza and salad buffet is great, however the prices are higher nowadays which decreases the willingness to come here for a lunch.

One of Hämeenlinna's best restaurants. Food is delicious and service is friendly. They tell patiently about ingredients and are happy to moderate portions for your special needs.
